Re: [OTTD] BRTracks - Development Thread
It appears that the path-based semaphore signals are bugged or incorrectly coded. The (usual) stop (red) aspect is instead a go (green) aspect and whenever a train passes it, it changes to a stop (red) aspect. And the way it changes to the stop aspect is also weird. Some shows a stop aspect that is oriented 180 degrees (as in showing it to the other side), one shows a different (I believe an exit signal) stop aspect, and they showed these various aspects in different track angles. Try doing a loop and placing them on each angle.
Oh and also, i forgot to mention that you missed the fencing for east-west track orientation.

The signalling, I am unsure on, but I think I saw this bug too. As far as the fencing goes, the graphics are there but the game refuses to show them.
Re: [OTTD] BRTracks - Development Thread
Hmm ill have to take a look and work out whats happening with the signals.
The PBS ones are a bit weird to code in, and i ended up with all semaphores the first time. Ill revisit.
EDIT: I've just tested this in game, and cannot replicate your error. The PBS signals work exactly as expected in game, turning Green as a Train passes them and then back to Red.
EDIT2: Right ok, the PBS Semaphores, ill take another look

Re: [OTTD] BRTracks - Development Thread
for some reason full width ballast dosnt work foe me even though I enabled it in the parameters so can I see a screenshot of what it looks like?
Re: [OTTD] BRTracks - Development Thread
The Full Width Ballast is currently still in development, and as such, the parameter currently does nothing. I've attached a preview image for you from the Discord discussionsCocoro wrote:for some reason full width ballast dosnt work foe me even though I enabled it in the parameters so can I see a screenshot of what it looks like?

I agree, a little harsh on the eyes, especially when you have so many tracks running together...
Re: [OTTD] BRTracks - Development Thread
I thought some people would have their doubts. That's why it's a perameter. Personally, I kinda like it.

I personally think it looks way better than the actual openttd tracks

Re: [OTTD] BRTracks - Development Thread
Apologies for the long-idle thread bump... just wanted to update a couple of things. I don't believe there's been any work on this project recently, but since there's a NewGRF release and the set is GPLv2, I figure it makes sense to include a link to the source
The source code for this project is available here
https://github.com/BRTrains/BRTracks
BRTrains/BRTracks/BRStations etc Discord is here, just in case anyone ever wants to pick the GRF up (unlikely in this case, I suspect, but you never know) or ask questions about how the code works etc
