Thanks to amazing help of Gwyd, I was able to convert DPRK Stations Addon's IDs to hex, which was neccessary because of some oversights on the side of the compiler. Unlike what someone told me, this won't change anything, but at least it is a little kinder to work with than some stupid mixture of octal and decimal.

That's not what you're here for though. I added a bunch of stuff to allow further customisation of stations, as well as metro stations. Tracks for which will be released tomorrow, after I've ironed out all the problems with it.

A long awaited update has finally arrived: I completely overhauled the freight cars. I added more variety to the kinds of freight cars available, we now have hoppers and even brake vans. All freight cars should be fully compatible with FIRS, and the gondolas and hoppers will even change the colours to match the type of cargo in it, for all FIRS cargoes. In the future I might add different tiers of freightcars.
I also added narrow gauge trains, which are significantly cheaper, but also significantly slower and weaker. There's no need to update DPRK Tracks, as it already has narrow gauge trains.

For something that started out as a joke, you've put a lot of serious work into this set! Amazing that you've managed to get this done and yet we're STILL waiting on an updated proper UK set! ;)

I'm looking forward to playing again with the new update. Do you plan to add non-underground metro tracks?

I present to you my latest project:
The North Korean Houses Set
Image
Please note: due to NewGRF limitations, all cities will generate as small cities, and gradually transition to larger city-types. By default this conversion happens when a city's population grows larger than 5000.
It isn't completely finished yet; I wanted to also add a third city-type, which would mimic Pyongyang.

This is a nice little building set. Just curious... any thoughts of doing the same for South Korea? There is a building set out there now, and it honestly doesn't look as nice IMO.

Well, no. I basically made this building set because the JapanSet Buildings and the Korean Style Buildings didn't quite work for a proper North Korean play-through, seeing how they're too modern. I reckon JapanSet works well enough for South Korea, but for the North it just looked out of place.
I am planning on doing did some rebalancing in the North Korean Houses Set because I've been doing some play-testing and I just cannot seem to make passenger railways profitable with DPRK houses, which I think is because of the population density.
After that I do have a few things planned that I really think you'll like.

Edit: That being said, a small patch for DPRK houses. I tested it out a bit and passenger railways seem to be profitable again.

Am I allowed to use your metro tracks in the Recycled Infrastructure Set? I notice you didn't include the graphics in the source and that you licensed it under Creative Commons 4.0? Thanks in advance!

And for the last time this summer, a new DPRK grf.
The North Korean Industry Set

The DPRK Industry set is designed for use with DPRK Houses. It has 2 economies; basic and ultra-basic. Ultra-Basic is designed to merely provide industries to supply Food, Goods and Wood.

1) Give credit
2) Don't make money off of it.
You are allowed to re-license the adaptive material as you wish. Sprites made by others may be licensed under a different license.
Looks like I can as long as I give you credit. Thank you!

The DPRK Industry set has an option for "extended" industries, but this is, I assume, is not implemented yet. Is it something that is planned?

This is indeed a planned feature. I thought that I had it set to not show that option though. Don't hold your breath for this though, I probably won't have much time to work on it until at least February or April because of university.

Because of an oversight I did not see until recently, the entire grf was basically unusable. This should now be fixed. Also: fancy cargo production; secondary industries will now produce cargo slowly over the course of several days at approximately the same speed as you're supplying it.
