I do my best to keep things balanced against NARS 2.51 :D

Though I would suggest using the parameter to halve the running costs until I figure out a way to include variable running costs like NARS 2.51 (Where things are cheaper to run when stopped, cost the most when accelerating, and run at their normal costs when running at the trains max speed without accelerating)

I did see some code on the 2cc Trains forum but its not quite what i'm looking for. I guess I'll have to look around and ask someone and hopefully I'll get something I can understand.

I found a small bug. The MPI MP40PH-3C has an introduction date of Year 0.

Yeah, thats been fixed, some how the line for the introduction date got removed, it put it back so it should appear in 2003.

The fix will be included in the next release

Hi Again

I don't mean to nitpick, and they're not my artwork, but it does seem to me that all of the black narrow gauge tenders are back to front? I don't know much about US narrow gauge stock, but shouldn't the pile of coal be next to the cab and firebox as opposed to facing the carriages behind?

Specifically this applies to the ten wheeler, pacific and mikado.

Yeah, I wasn't paying attention at first wanting to just get some stuff done, I'll have those fixed in the next release.

New version up as of today, been taking a break playing other games but now I'm getting around to finishing up my list with engines I have sprites for at the moment. Once I finish up the rest of the diesel locomotives and code up the the multiple units, I wont have anything to add until I have more sprites.

Hi, I just noticed this existed, great work! I'm glad a few of my sprites made it in there :)

Thanks, i'll see about adding them as soon as I can. I have a handful of stuff to add to NARS add-on set so I'll get around to it when I do. Sometimes after school I just feel too tired to do much coding or gaming (mostly because riding 6.5 kilometers there and then 6.5 km back is a bit exhausting)

Its all NML, I never learned NFO which is a b**** to figure out and code.


I'm currently recycling the code from 2cc Train in NML but in the future I ought to do things myself.

Is the source code posted anywhere, because I find that if I use grfcodec to decode a NewGRF even in NML it still doesn't show up in NML, and rather it shows up all in NFO? Also, does nmlc.exe have its own encoder and decoder?

nmlc only encodes, no decoding :)

You can download the source code from the project folder in the first post. I added a link to the project folder near the bottom of the post (Just select all the folders and files to download the entire folder as a zip if you want the whole source code)
