Couldn't you make the belt parts an object? Then you avoid having to join stations, and you can store objects and stations in one grf, doubling the amount of sprites in it (at least I hope so, no idea if that is really true).
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.

I do intend to make some object ones as well as they be ok when main platforms are in range of mines.

================================================================================================

Found a few graphics glitches in some new buildings I added tonight and now fixed. I hope to release AuzFreightStationsV005 on Bananas very shortly.

Was going to also release the station sets, but that should be tomorrow as have a little work to do to Part 2 and Part 4.

This image of what I done this afternoon.

The 2 island stations .. lower left is from Part 2 and other Part 4.

Part 2 needs fixing the roof .. Part 4 is a bit different .. there are no platforms on far side .. this line is for freight trains .. the near side for passenger trains .. this station is based on Thornton Station which is a suburb of Newcastle NSW Australia .. I need to do the other platform.

The other buildings are non-track stations from the ISR Sprite that he sent me.

Not yet ..

Just checked them out again .. all cranes and conveyors going in other direction are ok .. just 3 or the 4 cranes going the direction in pic are 1 pixel out.

Might had a computer quake when I was going those.

Will fix soon.

Thanks for telling me.

Cheers pal

That glitch is fixed now .. had 8 cranes and 3 was 1 pixel out of alignment.

Will need to release a version 6 later next week.

Before I do will add a few Goods Sheds.

This one is already added.

Intend to add another one similar to this but wider so can have it as wide and as long as you like.

Those who want to update to Version 6 now can use this file.

Added Grain Silos from ISA's collection he sent me and the loading Bin is from the Industrial Stations Renewal (ISR) set.
Grain Silos.png
Grain Silos.png (272 KiB) Viewed 2972 times
The train is from AuzNSWTrains.
The tracks are a set I been working on using designs from NuTracks .. one day might get them finished. When I do finish it I don't intend to have fences .. just the wide ballast. That way if want fences can use the ones in my object sets.

If you want to use these silos in a game here the file .. as be a bit longer before it gets released on Bananas.

Just released the latest versions of AuzFreightStations and AuzStations parts 1 to 4 on Bananas.

Main changes to the AuzStation sets is crush ballast on the railway lines in front of the platforms.

Also added some Railway Employee's Houses to Part 1.

Anyone wanting the source here they are in 3 parts. Had to split the graphics as so many.

Starting to add Cargo Aware non-track tiles and Platforms to the game.

Placing these in AuzWayponts as plenty room in that set.
This image shows 4 non-track tiles and 4 platform tiles with the first load of Containers showing.
Containers Cargo Aware-1.png

This one with the tiles about 2/3's full.
Containers Cargo Aware-2.png
Containers Cargo Aware-2.png (307.31 KiB) Viewed 2721 times
The industry behind these is from my AuzInd2 set.

I made 4 tiles of each so have a variety of colours in containers and not have same repeating as often.
Containers courtesy of Coalroads_Artist.

Not sure what other Cargo Aware I can do for freight as most of them are covered with ISR/DWE and CHIPS sets.

Main reason I did these containers as they same I use on my train sets and in the Industry sets.

File be ready at a later date. Cheers

Adding some more ideas to the Containers.

Made a Container Crane.

Can be made different lengths and the far end is a overlap piece that can go over roads, Truck Loading Bays, Ship Docks or what ever else you want it to over hang.

The only problem with this is when adding a Truck Loading Bay or Ships Dock, or vice versa must hold down the Ctrl key to join them together as one station set.
Container Crane1.png
Container Crane1.png (574.31 KiB) Viewed 2644 times
The fun part these can be made any length you like.
Container Crane2.png
Container Crane2.png (303.18 KiB) Viewed 2644 times
There is a separate normal platform piece with a Crane Track so make looks like the crane can move.

There is also a Cargo Aware Crane Track as well.
"
Would you like to try .. made a new file to replace AuzWaypoints and is now called "AuzWaypointsAndMoreFreightStations

They improve with age and time.

Made this based on a Container Crane at Chullora in Sydney.
I borrowed the idea for the Crane Tracks and the Crane hoist from the ISR set.

Last night and this morning made some improvements:
The crane facing the other direction had a few graphic issues.
Strengthened the far supports.
Added centre support if like make the crane longer. (I don't know if they have these in real, but still looks good)
Also added a few more cranes with and without containers.

As you may have noticed with most of the images I have shown previous have rail tracks that I been playing around with for some time.

Based on NuTracks I made 10 tracks in 5 sets.

I removed all the high speed Mono tracks as we do not have those in Australia.

In this image shows those 10 tracks.

From Left to Right

1st 2 introduce date is 1980 in time for the XPT high speed trains in this country. Speed limit is 200 km/h. Used on Main Lines only

2nd 2 introduce in 1930 and have a speed limit of 160 km/h. Used on Main Lines only.

3rd 2 introduce in 1870 and catenary in 1910 .. .. speed 80 km/h .. Use on Main and Branch Lines.

4th set introduce 1870 and Catenary in 1910 .. speed 60km/h .. use in sidings.

2nd last in 1800 speed of 60 km/h .. used on all main and branch lines until better lines introduced later.

Last also in 1800 speed 20 km/h. Used in sidings.

The lines introduced in 1800 was laid on the dirt .. ballast was no used until later. Tracks laid on ballast I showing them being introduced in 1870 as I not sure actual date yet. If any one has a clue let me know.

If you like to try what I done so far and let me know any glitches I might have missed.

I don't know if this set will work with other sets that have the very fast tracks and monorails.

the catenary is a bit hard to see could possibly add a peremeter witch makes it coloured like red still very nice track set and I admire your skill in coding.

That the problem with the grey ballast hard to see the catenary and the sleepers. I hope to do some train travel next Tuesday and get some photos of rail ballast and the catenary from high on footbridges and see if I can use the templates for different ballast colours.

What I seen between the tracks and each side the rails the ballast it darker from soot and oil stains .. so maybe I can do something similar.

I started a new forum for Australian Railway Tracks .. located at:
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=82691

I first working copy of a GRF will be placed there very soon.

Ballast is so important , I find it quite pleasing to look at what ever colour , much better than ballast-less track systems. On the subject of rail catenary poles, why not raise on a concrete block and make the Poles a darker colour . Keep up the good work ,look forward to the next chapter .

Those poles are from the Dutch catenary Set. Haven't made any for the track set.
