I like that way to as allows people to make them to how they want.andythenorth wrote:I like building sprites that fit on a single tile. Then mixing them up to make it look interesting. My $0.02 AUD.
The Mine Shaft Tower piece is 4 tiles. I could shorten that to 3 tiles.
The Pyrite Mine has a lot of greys in it but stands out nice and clear. See if I can pinch some of those ideas.
Not be 2 hard to have noth single and double track sheds.Quast65 wrote:The difficulty I personally have is that I like all of those...
I like the 2-track shed, I also like the 1 track sheds...
I like the rusted roofs, I also like "new" roofs idea...
I like the slanted front, I also like the straight front...
So, I wont be usefull there I would even dare to say, do them all!!
If I make a set with the new roof first, it easy to add rust or change colours later so probably could do both.
Making coal loading section it sections a person be able to choose what front they like.
Glad you mentioned this .. I have been drawing in Dos or Windows Palettes 8 bit colours. I will start a new lot and make sure it 32 bit. This should give me more options .Quast65 wrote:You are drawing in 32bpp, right? (doublecheck if your drawingboard is not accidently using the DOS or Windows palettes anymore), so you have loads of options regarding slightly different hue's, tints and tones of the colors, making it just that bit different
