This is what I adding to the AuzFreightStations.

Coal Loading Bin and Conveyor Belts.

Hope your good at Lego Building.

The Coal Bins are found in Freight Platforms and are like Normal Platforms and can be up to 7 platforms wide.

The Elevator and Conveyor Belts are found in Freight Buildings .. they are non-track station tiles.

The Conveyor Belt can be as long as you like across level ground.

I hope to make a few Elbow Joiners and where the conveyor belt meets the Open Cut Coal Mine .. Maybe put a small bin so catch the coal coming out of the building.

Making storage bin to match other station sets good idea so they all can be used together.

Looking at your image ,, wonder if I could also do a yellow Conveyor Belt set so will match up with what you used .. just be missing the animation as if the moving.

first let me thank you again for all the nice stuff you added to the game, the quantity and the quality is rather impressive !

about the yellow conveyor, maybe have a look at ISR/DWE newobjects, i believe there is a yellow conveyor belt with animation in it ;) that s the one from the screenshot actually (i realised it after i wrote my message)

The yellow conveyors done in ISA/DWE are done in 8 bpp colour .. my stations are in 32 bpp so not sure if the will stay animated. But will give them a go and see what happens after I finish some work I doing just now.

Made a few more pieces to the Conveyor Belts and Coal Bins.

Two types on conveyor belts .. one covered and one uncovered. Each with Junctions so can change directions.

Also a yellow set from ISR but they are not animated. Before I do any more of these let you decide if you would use them.

Remember all these are Station Non-Track Tiles .. they increase the coverage area for the Coal Bins and other platforms.

It will be a few days before I am able to do anymore to this due to personal commitments.

What else I hope to do?
Still need to do the Bins and the elevators the facing direction .. I had a go but finding the facing Elevators a bit difficult at the moment.
The Conveyor Belts do not go up slopes .. but the Junction Buildings I have done has given me a idea. Will work on those ideas if all goes well on Thursday.

You need to draw those colors in a MASK graphics file. (as with 32bpp, the colors that are normally animated in 8bpp are not animated anymore)

Looking at ideas how to allow the Conveyor Belts to go up and down slopes.

Coding them as a Station Tile not that easy (At least not easy for me).

So come up with these 2 ideas.

Can only go up one level at a time .. if more then one level need go up it steps.

And idea I been thinking of is make a slope fake looking but will look odd if I use green grass for the slope and your game play area might be tropics or snow.

Looking at photos of conveyor belts and didn't see any on grass. They all have a crushed ballast or dirt under them and a maintenance road on each side. So I going to try the same principle and see if they look ok.

If you want to try those I done above and give me your opinion here the file.

Not been able to answer and messages for several days as had no internet from around midday Thursday to almost 5 pm Monday.

During that time been making some changes to station sets and adding a bit more.

Made the Coal Bins so can have them in any of the 4 directions. Added some yard lights too so can see what your doing.

Some changes I in the process of doing .. I think just a few buffer stops to finish as placing of crushed ballast with the platforms ..

The railway tracks are some I been working on with wide ballast .. undecided if leave fences out and players can use the fences if need from the AuzObject_Fences.

The changes I have made so far to Stations and Platforms involve 5 sets.

They are all bundled up in this zip file. Note: Some sets are not yet finished. Because of all the changes made these are new sets.

That has given me a idea .. rather than animate the yellow conveyor belts .. I see if I can animate the belts I made :wink:

Be a few days or more before I can try due to personal commitments next few days.

Been experimenting with the Conveyor Belts going over Roads, rails, creeks and also be used with Truck Loading Bays.

This is a image to what I come up with so far and seems to work.

A bit more experimenting.

Has a glitch .. when going over a road, the tiles each side the road are different stations. To over come this after laying the station tiles one side the road, hold your ctrl key down as you place the station tile on other side of road and it will give you a list of stations. Choose the one you wish to join it to.

The station pieces on right in image .. the building is a separate piece to the conveyor belts and piece going over the road.

The station set to the left . . there is a sample below that shows which pieces act as separate stations.

To join them need to hold the Ctrl key down as you place the next piece.

Give it a try and see what you think. For now these new pieces are in a menu called AuzFreight: Overlapping Tiles.

It will be a few days before I can do more to this.

Forgot to mention: The buildings are courtesy of Industrial Stations Renewal (ISR) v1.0.2 .. much thanks to those who made that set as their buildings are excellent.

Adding more to the mining stations.

The Coal Mines I made for AusInd2 set .. making it so can load the coal the old way before conveyor belts was invented and using conveyor belts .. can also use them both.

This will be in a new AuzFreightStations_V005 set.

Since so many mining stations all the mining stations will be in a new Rail Station Selection as "AuzFreight: Mining"

Not ready for testing yet .. working on 2 projects at the moment and the other one I giving priority too .. you will find out in due course what other project is.

I think I have enough Mining Stations done.

What I haven't done is pretty well covered in ISA/DWE and the Chips sets

Almost filed the set .. so what room left hope to use for something else.

As can be seen in this image the conveyor belts can now go underground into the underground mines.

Help me test and see what you think .. if no problems found hope to release on Bananas end of the week.

This might not work with previous saved games using other AusFreightStation sets.

Could make some more station pieces but will need to add them to another set ,, maybe to AuzStations_Part 4 or maybe use some to fill up the AuzWaypoints set.

Making some changes to some of the stations. When I first made many of these I only know how to do single tiles. Since learned how to make longer sets 1x2, 1x3 and larger up to 7x7 in size.

So some of the stations I made before there be 2 or 3 single buildings all belonging to the same station, so hope to join these and make them 1 station. This will free up some IDs and make room for me to add some other types.

In this image will show you some things I in process of doing.

The goods shed was in 2 piece .. it is now one piece. Left the platforms out so you can choose what type you like .. with or without awnings.

The Gantry Crane .. comes in 2 pieces .. the part where trains travel and the gantry going over the Truck Loading Bay and fake Road are one piece. The Gantry support at far end with the empty space of crush ballast behind ii in the second piece of the puzzle.

Doing this now gives you a choice if just like the Fake Road or maybe you like to have it as a transfer station between road vehicles and trains.

Hope ready for release in a day or three.

Any one like to test what I done so far. Not sure if get it finished by weekend like I hoped .. a few health problems slowing me down at moment.

Gantry Crane can now be use either side with Truck Loading Bay or a Fake Road. (I tested it with a bus as it being a light colour made it easier for me to see any glitches).

When making the Gantry Crane when laying the 2nd piece and/or the Truck Loadin Bay .. hold down the Ctrl Key so you can join them with the first piece laid .. other wise they will be different station names.

Was starting to make some Containers to go with the Large Cranes, but ISA/DWE already got those covered.

The Sprite ISA sent me has some options which hope to work on in coming days. See if can do something similar with those for Grain like I did for mining.

Wondering if the covered conveyor belts I did if I should replace them with same as the ones ISA did?

We shall see.

Just changed the grf file .. the one here will be same as I be releasing on Bananas later tonight. I do a few more tests just to make sure.
