Been experimenting with 3 Bus terminals see what my limits are. Tried with 2 overlaps but the furthest overlap glitched a lot ..

So basically will only have the one overlap for buses to enter. If we want the terminal bus zones to be wider, some will need to be fake.

"fridaemon" been helping .. I make he test see if the break and let me know if problems.

Hope to figure out a way if I can make any terminals to work with these type bus stations that will hide the shelter sheds. If successful would be great with some of the photos you sent.

Experimenting again we ideas from the photos temporal8 provided bottom last page.

I you placed several terminal bus stations side by side like the image on left here.

I could make a bus terminal similar to hide thos bus stations as shown on right.

Those shown would be the waiting areas .. I could make a 4th piece to have the offices and can be placed on far end.

It still under construction and the workers gone home for the evening hence why you not see any one in the building.

Will have a try putting glass sections to the roof over the bus stations but will make sure they not show the green bus shelters.

My bedtime .. will do more tomorrow.

What a bumma .. I used the wrong bus station from the game to try design that bus terminal. That what happens when I push myself when the eyes are getting heavy. See what happens tomorrow after some sleep

Here 2 more bus terminals I done.

Designed from one of the images that temporal8 put in the forum on bottom previous page.

Made 2 types from it.

This simple one for through bus stations.

This one can be used for any bus station. I chose the ones from "truckbuslots.grf" (Truck and Bus Parking Lots) .. created by Kevin Fields back in 2010 maybe earlier.
You can make this one as long as you like and buses can use bays either side of the waiting area extensions.

Would you like to try what I done so far with the Bus Terminals.

There are 2 sets at the moment as not sure yet which be best for game play.

There is the Object set .. and there is now a non-track station set.

The object set .. but they take up a space that could be used for something more productive.

The advantage of objects is they cheap to build.

and here the non-track station set. These non-track can be used to join a bus station to a railway or a airport. They also expand the area the terminal will serve in the towns.

Here new set of grf with Bus Terminals.

There are 10 bus terminals in all.

The latest if this one that can be use as long or as wide as you like.

I tried to design it to blend in the Bus Stations that come with the game. It hides the roofs and the seats look like they part of the Bus Terminal.

If you leave the far road vacant of bus stations and it can then be used for taxis and cars to pick up and set down passengers. :D

It is available as a non-track station set.

And it is also in the object set which is now called AuzObjectAddOns. The Auz32TestObjects will later have some truck loading bays for testing. It also includes a set of Communication Towers that Luxtram made.

If you see anything that can be improved or a error I missed, appreciate if let me know.

The big grey terminal thinking of changing its colour as the grey blends in with roads .. and also for something modern looking I think it could be another colour. Any suggestions?

You can then place the office on either side of the terminal.

Edited my previous post for supports.


Yesterday one is very nice. Last one you posted needs the roof to be darker. Now it more suitable for Arctic.

What you think a light grey?

The object terminals most of those I have put snow on the roof. Just the big grey one to be done .. but plan to recolour it first.

here is 3 designs I done including the idea from perverted monkey making a red roof terminal. The other one still available.

The office building are separate pieces so can add even end of the bus terminal and hope soon have a nice variety of officers to use with any set.

Been experimenting .. again .. seeing if I can overlap the bus stations where large terminals not required.

Overlapping them no problem and they could look like this.

But the problem is when bus some it goes behind the bus stop .. very inconvenient to the passengers. So far I not found a answer how to stop that.

also the yellow square is where something else needs to go to allow the overlap .. maybe a small shop or house.

So I think I have to throw this idea out the window for now.

Had a go making a bus terminal with see through black glass roof and this is the result.

The roof blends in a bit with the roads but overwise I think it should be ok.

This bus terminal I think I will remove it as it to big. If I make it smaller the default bus stations stick through the roof. See if I can replace it with something else.

A few changes been made as well .. the grey bus terminal has had a new paint job and I seeing what the buildings from my Sydney Railway Station will look with the bus terminals. Need to make a small alteration to them as they was designed to align with platforms 3 pixels high. Only done the clock tower so far.

Thanks pal, glad you like them.

Not getting any work done today as keep getting power outages. I tried twice and lost the work each time. Workmen are working on power lines in the area so I wait till tomorrow to try do any more.

Having a try on some truck loading bays now.

Only been able to get one done but hope to do a few more when get chance.

The Truck Loading Bay is a jigsaw puzzle. Need 2 pieces one piece for each side the road.

You can give it a try see what I mean and let me know if like so can do more. Only done the object version so far.

Here image of 2 Truck Loading bays that be in next upload.

Like the last one in last release they in 2 pieces one for each side the road. This is so they not glitch with the default truck loading bays.

I wail till I do a few more before I upload next version .. if all goes well could be Friday.
