There a great set of trees. I think be good to make a set as Multi-select and put people under some of them. Should look good in parks and play grounds.

For those interested in doing their own flowering trees.

I found sets of trees several years ago. I downloaded the arctic and the temperate ones. Arctic set has 15 types of trees and the temperate has 13.

This particular set from the temperate set is what I used for the trees in streets and for flowers.

I not don't remember where I got them from .. I think they are as Quast65 said original OpenGFX trees, but if we wrong, please let me know so I can credit who actually did them.

They are definitely OpenGFX, just start a game without any GRF's (so with just OpenGFX base-graphics) and they are already there.

That good to be sure .. thank you .. now I can give Credit to who ever made them. Some of those trees I intend to use with the parks and street parking.

The street parking has gone back to the drawing board .. as think it can look better even more. The parking was only taking up 1/2 a tile so those nice trees could be used to fill that space.

I think these are suppose to be fig trees. So could do something like this. Use the wide pathways and place ion center like previous version. And trees could go between the path and the parking space like in image and/or other side of path. These should suit on out skirts of town, at sporting ovals, and tourist attractions.

Maybe something like this.

Still experimenting on the street car parks.

Did not like the curb and gutter on previous ones so seeing if can improve them.

This one with narrow path and looks like the path is a bit higher then the car park area.

Over on the forum New South Wales Rail Set[Testers Needed!] is a set of Aussie trees.

They was drawn by mdhowe back in 2004. I message him long time ago but got no answer if I could use them.

he/she was last active on Sun Feb 04, 2007 4:37 pm.

Wondering if I be safe to use them?

In mean time been experimenting with a few idea and adding more to street parking which still some work to do before I can upload.

If I do wide paths they could end up looking like this.

I did a quick search and found this:
Red*Star apparently made a modification to the trees drawn by mdhowe:

This is done in a topic started by mdhowe, so I assume with permission to do so.
Red*Star says this:
After all had time to divide and finalise the forest. So if anyone wants to code it, here it is. If anyone from the TTDPatch people wants to implement it, you can of course use it too.
Seems permission enough, at least to use the modificated ones from Red*Star.

Many years ago I contacted those who drew the trains and got their permission to use in my train sets that was back in 2015-16. But never got reply from mdhowe .

Reference to the Aussie Trees

I contacted "Red*Star" by PM and received a answer this morning.

Some extracts from his PM.

* thank you for your polite request! Yes, of course you can use them ... the "original" trees were from someone else, only the right side (i.e. the snow-covering) has been done by me.

* They were from a user named mdhowe:

I think he has put it under an free-to-use-license back then or even in the Wiki we had in the past, where it was an open source license or something like that - otherwise I could not have (re-)used them

So still: Feel free to use them :D

So I now in the process of coding them and probably put them in the "AuzCreekAndDrainObjects" as I have landscape and some other trees in that set.

I keep getting side tracked and wonder off trying new ideas .. one day I just might finish a project completely.

The Dutch Road Furniture has had me wondering if we don't need the parallel roads to be so far apart but instead let them be side by side and still have objects in the middle of the 2 roads.

So I experimented with island car parking and trees and came up with these.

Using this concept.
The Yellow square is the main tile .. and the rest are overlaps.

* The template on left .. yellow main tile and red where cars park or other object.
* The grey square where a try can go or other object .. Not suitable for a ground tile as it will glitch and vehicle pass under it.
* On right Yellow main tile and the joining darker yellow is car parking and or other object.
* The dark yellow and green where a ground piece can go and the cars. Not suitable for any high object in these as they will glitch.

If your interested in making something your self with my idea let me know and I send you the source to the template and coding.

When I was doing my screenshot for this months competition finding some objects in some sets missing or I forgot to finish coding in.

In the AuzFenceObjects are these 5 hedge fences.

There are 3 green hedges ..
* the top is a hedge that been well looked after .. suitable for parks and gardens.
* The next 2 are a bit rough more suitable for in the country and as wind breaks for farm crops.
* Then there is the wooden hedge
* and last is a stone hedge.

They are slope aware fences except the corner sections and the sections with the gates.

I stole the images from "ogfx-landscape" not sure if any one else made fences from them before.

You will find them in the game in Object Selection menu under the name of "Hedges".

Last night looking at this month screenshot competition entries and it reminded me of a project I started a few years ago.

When I was doing the farm crops and objects it was intended to do some tractors pulling plows and I got side tracked and forgot about them till last night.

Here image of some I started to do do back in 2016.

Can you guess where I stole the tractors from :D :?: Those big yellow tractors I did not draw the originals .. I just changed a little bit to them :?:

You can try them .. there are 3 object pieces so far. Need to make different colour tractors and also see about make a slope aware plowed fields .. bit hard doing tractors on slopes. They be only on flat ground. Like to try finish the rest of them over the weekend.

EDIT:
I am in the process making a few changes and adding new additions to the plowing. So might be best not to down load the game file here for game play unless you just testing as new changes WILL conflict.

The plowed fields will be slope aware so can be placed anywhere (except on water).

The tractors plowing will be multi-select tiles as there be 4 colours of each tractor.

The 1/2 width plowed fields be on separate.

Working to get them done tonight or tomorrow in time for the weekend.

Update to the tractors plowing fields .. I finished this set.

I've replaced the 3 objects in the version above to 3 new ones and they now provide more.

Sorry all but I found a error with the slope aware plowed fields .. I forgot to alter the shading of the soil depending which direction the sun was shining.

While I was at it I made a chicken farm. 2 types shed one old style and a newer look and also silos for the chicken feed.
Hope to make similar buildings soon for vegetable growing.

Just rushing some Farm Objects so they can be used on the weekend .. be no more at least not for this weekend.

Added chickens to the chicken pens .. they are animated. (The chicken farm pieces can be found in Livestock Pens).

Added Green houses. (I know there a slight pixel alignment problem with these, but it will have to do for the time being).

Added Vegetable Gardens.

Fiddling around with vegetable gardens .. collecting images of different types.

Hope you enjoying the new farm objects I done so far.

For those who like to start a game before they had tractors or maybe they have a small hobby farm .. here some horse and bullocks pulling a plow.

Is steal a cow and horse a hanging offence? As I stole them from some ones' property.

We now have more Power ..

A member called "TTDFanDNUA" asked me many moons ago if could make some more power poles. Past several days finally got around to it and made some and these the results.

Some are on 2x1 tiles.

This set .. the larger power pole was already added a few weeks ago, I included its little brother in same set so they together.

Those who read my post of Auztralian Industries (AuzInd) working on a idea of a different style of Industry set where you build your own.

It will need objects and non-track station pieces to help build them.

Yesterday and this morning I made these for the oil fields and added them to AuzIndObjects.
