Can finally let you have a try at what Romazoon and I been doing.

Replace the CanalTestset with this RomazoonObjects.

It has the Locks, high retaining walls and some other work he did previously and also has the 4 sets of wharves that are slope aware (auto lay) and 2 sets of canals that are auto lay. And several new single tile canals.

The wharves have stone surface, lawns, flowers, trees, seats, fountains and playgrounds.

The auto lay canals .. the first one can only be used on it own. Can not add additional single tiles or the wide canals to it. The second canal the ends remain open so you can add extras to it like the pieces that join at the water shore lines and the canal can be made wider.

The image shows 3 different slope pieces for the shore line. the first was an attempt to have a waterfall effect to go with the wharves, but failed. It looks more like rapids. The second not a waterfall effect, but joins the lakes to the canals better. The far one not suitable to be used with wharves but gives you the waterfall effect

Heck, we could use these for REAL canals (Canaltypes, anyone? ;) )

Or an improvement on Water Roads, with multiple "wet" roadtypes.

Not a bad idea.

You will find some more retaining walls that Romazoon has made in the set which apart from coding them in to use hope to see if can get them to work as slope aware or auto lay as well. There are taller Walls and some with rocks and sand.

Hope to work on these a bit more with him and see how these can be used in different ways.

That is one reason I need to upload them again cause even I am lost with them at moment.

Made changes or added new pieces to almost all the object sets.

Started to work on the retaining walls with the sand and got side tracked and built some promenade or jetty .. depend what you like to call them.

A few minor alignment problems to fix before I will upload the game.

Also looking at changing the timbers to the Wharf in my AuzWaterObject set .. remove the brownish look and replace with the weather timber like in those in this image. I was asked to do that many moons ago, but got side tracked and forgot.

Those who down load the Object sets I will upload over the next few days are reminded these replace all previous object sets including those on Bananas.

This is the AusWaterObjects. It has ships, boats, dams, fake creeks, Fake Water Tiles, logs, reefs, fish farms, oyster farms and the wharves shown in this image.

The wharves along the coast were originally a brownish timber deck, but years of weathering they colour has changed.

Who can help me make a decision.

I have the Fences as a separate object file because there are too many to join these with the AuzFarmandIndustryObject set.

Wondering if I should separate the fences into several sets.

First separate the Farm and Industry objects (again).

The fences designed for farm go in the new Farm Objects set, fences designed for Industries go in the new Industry Objects set, fences for towns go in the AuzTownObjectSet. Fences I have designed to go along side railway and roads go in the AuzRoadandRailObjects set.

If I make this alteration it be in a later release. For now I'll just upload where I am up to for now so hope over weekend you can enjoy.

Here some updates.

The AuzElectrictyAndTelephoneObject set will become obsolete as soon as I finish the new version AuzPowerAndTelephoneObjects set. At the moment you need both if you want the Telephone Poles with Wires and the wires for the Tall Power Poles.

This new version has a new Lattice power Pole with wires. New telephone Poles with out wires at the moment, altered graphics to the H-Frame poles. There are 5 types of Distribution Poles all with wires. (one set designed to connect to house and buildings. (See previous page for images).

Have you visited Andrew360's the RattRoads forum? Much thanks to him he helped me design some roads too and I called the AuzRattRoads. There are some road objects in this set as well so to see the latest go to Page 13 in that forum at viewtopic.php?p=1230022#p1230022.

Been experimenting with single lane roads. They do work unless a vehicle gets lost and comes the opposite way and will drive off the edge of the road. Like to make some country roads suitable for farms and industries where vehicles can enter one direction and exit another.

Got a bit water logged and made some Jetties. Not sure what you call them in other countries.

Also added the shore line (just the sand and water) so look better on the coast in all climates.

Should I leave the boats that colour or change them. Maybe used Company Colours?

Added some wires to some Telephone poles.

You can go up one slope at a time and next slope needs to be 4 tiles apart.

The taller telephone poles on left based on photograph I seen of Newcastle Australia in 1896 when horse and sulky was the main transport. But it had 10 arms and looked a lot taller then what I done.

The other telephone set is based on telephone wires used by the New South Wales railways on the North Coast Line between Maitland and Taree.

(The top wires was communications wires between train controllers at Newcastle and all the signal boxes between Maitland and Taree The next row phone wires connecting Newcastle, Taree, and Grafton. 3rd row connecting all the signal boxes between Maitland and Taree and bottom row was for the Electric Train Staff Instruments.

I worked at one of the signal boxes and we did not have dial telephones. It was all wind a handle and pressing a button. Each signal box had there own code .. mine was . - . . and if need to contact some one not in a signal box turn handle 15 times and it connect you with telephone exchange at Taree).

These new telephone sets are listed under "AuzTelegraph: Telegraph Poles Large"

I have transferred bits and pieces from the old "AuzElectricAndTelephoneObjects" set so now only need this set for all your Power and Telephone needs.

The old ones from other set that I still intend to change and alter are in the last 2 sections on the menu in this image.

You can make the jetties different designs and like the higher ones they are at edge of tile so you can add ships and boats from other people sets.

Will upload the game file in next few days as got some more to do to it.

Kamnet put a story about Seaplane airports and gave me some ideas.

The low Jetty I did I thought would look good with a seaplane tied to it.

I've only got those 2 images so far. Will see if can get some of the plane facing forward.

Maybe a floating jetty close to shore would go well with the planes as well. But problem I have .. AuzWaterObjects only has room for 20 more objects.

Another idea I working on is Boat Sheds.

Want to try what I done so far?

"Buoys as docks" isn't a thing in JGRPP yet, right? This would work great if you then provided jetties as an alternative graphic to buoys.

When I look up images on internet for Jettys they show some interesting designs and break walls as well. So see if I can make a few designs if like.

Added some airfield that can be used for farms or other industries that long way from towns.

Since I did that image moved the sock over near the fuel tank.
