AuzSubwayOverlapObjects

Been looking at my parks and gardens in AuzTownObjects and not sure what combination be nice to use for the overlays.

So I asking those who use these overlays to help me design some.

You can make them like I did in the image by starting a game and then and when you make many do a Default Zoom Screenshot and send it to me.

1. That is the main tile .. they all don't need to be the same.
2. Is the first overlap and these also don't need be the same.
3. 2nd overlap .. these best to be the same.
4. 3rd overlap .. these also best to be same ..

The reason some to be the same as most of us overlap those tiles both directions. If they different some times they flicker.

Make a 1 overlap, then a 2 overlap and then a 3 overlap of what you would like overlapping your underground. Then all I have to do is cut them out and place in a template and code them in.

If you use items from other peoples sets .. make sure they are allowed to be copied and used by others.

I made a set or road and rail bridges with out pylon and side rails.

These designed to cross over subways (underground network) and look like a ordinary road or rail .. almost.

Been that long since I worked on bridges I forgotten how to do some things.

I tested with the freeway bridge from RattRoads and it not show the shoulders correctly. Not sure why.

Any one like to try here the game file.

This version of Fences has the black wire mesh fences that was used in the AuzSportObjects set.

EDIT:
There are also some retaining walls in with the fences .. next issue I will separate these in the Select Object Menu so easier to find.

- Pathways with trees
- Warehouses (2 lots .. one lot shown in image a few posts back)
- Wide pathways with and without awnings.

I think those pathways now need a variety of shops .. see what I can do over the weekend and during next week.

Still working on the overlap roads.

This not really a object but these rail, road, maglev and mono rail bridges are designed to be used with the Subway Overlays.

I don't have any pylons in my graphics yet the maglev and mono still show pylons .. got no idea why .. also I had to draw the tracks for those on the bride pieces as other wise they be just a grey tile.

Hi Garry,

These bulk cranes in Auz Industry Objects look nice but unfortunately they're broken on slopes where they would need to be to work on the harbourfront:

Thanks pal, wonder who I never picked that up when I made them .. maybe forgot to test them :roll:

Found another slight problem with them .. I only had their height set at 8 pixels .. I think they are a wee bit higher so they been adjusted as well.

In Auz Object Beaches, I found a tile with some sprite offset issues. "Wide Top Path", the view with "Select", has this issue:

Thanks for the report of a issue. I checked and could not find that same issue .. then I checked the version I have here and what I last uploaded. Page 53 has version 4 and I have 5 here which I did on 27th January (I must have fixed that issue way back then) and for some strange reason forgot to upload it. I must be getting old and keep forgetting things :roll:

Anyway try this version also including the source.

Hi all,

I been playing around in the backyard. Added some clothes lines and toilets (thunder boxes). These can go with most houses and other buildings in AuzTownObjects and also in AuzFarmObjects.

I got the idea for the backyards to add to the terrace houses in the subway overlaps and added some to AusTownObjects as well.

There is 2 types of back yards as shown in image .. half backyards as they go between the building and a full back yard but allowing a bit of room for a lane way at the back.

A water supply system for AuzIndObjects.

This image shows the bore water pumps and water tanks that have been added to the object set.

The water towers and the 3 bore water pumps that same shape but different colours are from Water Treatment Plant for Industries.

The other bore water pump is from Prissi's collection.

The Water Desalination in the center is from BornAcore's collection and it is from the updates I making for AuzInd2021 Industrial set. It not included in the objects yet.

Water Treatment Plant for Industries set is only available for the Tropics .. but I like to make them available for all climates.

So here the update to AuzIndObjects that includes the Water Towers and the Bore Water Pumps.

Hi, animating the gas wells and setting up the pipes to burn off access gas from the gas fields and oil fields (but flame isn't animated yet). Some how the pipes for these don't align properly as well so need to do them again.

You can start using the AuzIndObjects but just remind you the graphics for the gas flame and the pipes need fixing and hope to do that tomorrow .. but you will have to wait to at least Friday before next update.

Update to the gas fields. Was going to make you wait till Friday for update but changed my mind.

Changelog:
- The animated pumps now available in 2 directions
- Gas Pipe alignment fixed.
- Gas flames animated
- Gas plugs added.

Suggestions please:

The gas plugs what to do with them: Since different images to these.
1 Some have a pipe from them to some tanks?
2 Some appear to go underground to tanks a distance away.
3 Some trucks refill their tanks direct from the plugs.

So which one would look good?

Most of these should have security fences around them .. but I let you do that with object fences.

Any how .. here the update so you can play around with them and see what ideas you come up with.

Wind Farms

Received a PM ask if I can do windfarm.

I have the graphics to the Wind Farms consisting of 256 images (32 lots of 8 all angles) that came with the source of FIRS 1.4.3. A Industry set would not be of any use unless you deliver a lot of wind.

Also have 16 images of wind farms from ogfx-landscape.

I should be able to animate and arrange so they can go on land or water and add them to the AuzIndObjects. But is there already a set out there? Or should it be ok if have another set in my object sets as well?

Hi. Got to say great object set's as usual!

But I have found a problem where ?sand dredging (the small one), and some of the logging wharves won't build on the water
