How do I make it look good?

How do I make it look good?

I'm trying to make a newGRF, but my sprite attempt looks pretty rubbish.

I made an NSE 319. I'm not good at giving advice, but take what you will from these.

It was made for the BR Trains pack, but Leanden fell sick so I have a whole bunch of trains in reserve.
