Indeed, I'm all for it looking realistic in size, it's just the fact that in the corners, it might not look good. A double length carriage might overlap onto an adjacent track.

For example. in this screenshot you can see that the train turns by Half Tile, I've never seen a full tile train before, so I'm not sure how this will work. Hopefully you understand what I mean :)

Indeed, I intend to divide each carriage into two separated sprites so you only get 1/2 tiles sprites just like on this exemple.

Here's what it looks like when drawing it...

But at the end I intend to divide each cariage into two separate sprites so it looks like this.

I've tried to divide each car into 2 different sprites for each car.
Firstly, I am not sure if anyone else has tried this approach before and secondly I think it may look very strange when a trainsegment that looks whole in one view, suddenly breaks up in 2 separate pieces when on a bend...
Finally, how would this kind of design look compared to trains already available in the game?
Hopefully you are able to find a traincoder (or try to code it yourself) to see how it works ingame.

However, I did try to resize one view of the train to what I think is the current standard. May still need some tweaking, but it hopefully has the details that makes it recognisable (2 doors in each segment, middle windows placed a bit lower than the outer windows):

AM%2008%20MS08%20Desiro%20ML%20real%20size%20sprites_QUAST_EDIT.png (11.06 KiB) Viewed 4823 times
Right now, the outer windows are 2 pixles wide, making those one pixel leaves some room to make the inner window a bit longer, that may even be better...
This is just to help you a bit on your way if the division of a car doesnt work ;-)

Thanks but I've already have all those done in TTD standard
Image

I'm not used to draw to TDD standard as I make most of my pixy work for other purposes...
Yet since I've started to draw TDD sprites, the TTD standards have always seemed really odd since the 50% ratio (ortho/iso) is made between a diagonal and a square side...

I've tried this to see what it looks like ingame but it cannot look worst than a train whose size is reduce by two when turning :D
We'll se what it looks like ingame.

(The long length of the coach is due to the scale I use which is always the same from a tram or a building to a train.)

Not now since the coder of this thread is quite busy for now and I only wanted those to be part of the Belgian set, but if anyone is willing to code a Dutch Bus Set I can provide a lots more sprites including the 21 m Q-Link Capacity... I've already made some Dutch sprites
