Just curious, is there a difference in the near and far sets of 3 BR liveries other than position of the first class cars?

The shorter HST is the 255 'Challenger', the next is the 253 'Western' and the longest is the 254 'Eastern'.

Yep; the two similar ones in the Alphaline livery are Wales and Borders (blue doors - 4th) and Wessex trains (pink doors - 9th). There are a few one offs and bits in there including the Wessex trains Ginsters livery (all black with the red Ginsters logo). I will try and remember to get a list off to you tomorrow when I have time....

Following this with interest :)

I was wondering, how far back were you planning to go? 1920? 1900?

Wowsers, fair way back then. I am not much cop when it comes to coding, but I could assist with the planning if you like. I contributed in a teeeny way to UKRS2 (sprite-bashed a Royal Scot for it in various versions. Pikka understandably only coded one, but I have the others kicking around. Different tenders, pre and post rebuild, with and without smoke deflectors etc). I could try drawing some other things if it would help, but i'd be better with the planning. (Might try learning NML, seems easier than old NFO coding)
