Also, gotta say I like the look of the Neoplan Centroliner.

Practice, practice, practice...Creideiki wrote:ow is it that you can produce such high quality work so fast?
Thanks mate, I'll take a close look at them and see if any fit.Simozzz wrote:Let me add some more suggestions:
Don't bother, I've already added the Sprinter City 77 to the tracking table with all its stats.Xaxa wrote:Yes, the specs, I shall take a look for you.
I think there's something wrong with those stats you've written, they somehow seem weird to me. I'll try checking myself a bit.Xaxa wrote:Japan's first bus
Look, before you start bothering with a bus stats, take a look at the tracking table and see if there is a need for a bus of that sort in that exact period. E.g. if a certain decade misses a suburban articulated bus or an urban minibus or... If yes, only then you should start bothering yourself with stats. If there are multiple numbers mentioned, use the number that pops out most often, it is usually the most correct one.Xaxa wrote:I'll refine my way of searching for buses for the next suggestions I will possibly post.
Don't mention it, my pleasure.Lionic wrote:Wow, this thread is advancing my knowledge about buses, just like 2CC Trains did about locomotives! Thank you, Voyager One, for all your time and efforts!
Added to the list. Scania as IC bus, Bustech as suburban.Emperor Jake wrote:Scania K113TRBL & Bustech CDi
A nice suggestion but sorry, no. Please no offense mate...te_lanus wrote:Toyota Hiace
Ya6 - no, ZiS 8 already in the list. (very similar)Simozzz wrote:suggestions
If you feel the need to use a small passenger van, Bob's British Vehicles/Buses has a nice Ford Transit van.Voyager One wrote:- the Hiace is actually a van converted into a "microbus" - this is a category I'd really like to avoid. Also, vans aren't buses in any kind of way so that's another category that doesn't fit.
- in-game use of this kind of vehicles would be almost completely useless considering the time period it comes in.

Hahahaha. Trucks will come first... next... something...kamnet wrote:So, next up is the 2CC Cargo & Passenger Van Set?

While I agree that it would be quite useless in-game, I have to say at least for the modern Hiace the stated capacity is correct, 11 seats in the back, plus driver and passenger seat up front = 13. As for 25, it's certainly possible, but the law might say otherwiseVoyager One wrote:- by an unwritten rule, a vehicle is considered a "bus" if it carries 10+ passengers - those 13 in that Hiace seem too much to me, not to mention 25; also, there is no way of standing places in that thing;

Our "Law" is so corrupt, and Taxi's is "above" the law. So no one tries to enforce the "Law"Eddy Arfik wrote:While I agree that it would be quite useless in-game, I have to say at least for the modern Hiace the stated capacity is correct, 11 seats in the back, plus driver and passenger seat up front = 13. Ikarus 250
There seems to be a typo in the site I've shown. The one I suggested was 6270.06 (cityrythm-15) which is 3-axle 14 long urban bus, not 5270.06 (cityrythm-12) which is shorter 2-axle one.Volgabus 5270.06
No matter, the Karosa's are quite similar. No offense mate...Simozzz wrote:Ikarus 250
250 was used as intercity and touristik bus, while 260 is urban bus.
A-ha, I noticed there was something strange going on. I'll add the 6270, maybe I'll keep both.Simozzz wrote:There seems to be a typo in the site I've shown. The one I suggested was 6270.06 (cityrythm-15) which is 3-axle 14 long urban bus, not 5270.06 (cityrythm-12) which is shorter 2-axle one.
That's the modern one, the suggestion was for the 1980s variant. Still, I think it's too small. And with a lenght of 5 meters, it would be only 3/8th long - not to small to draw but too small to have any significant details on it. I've already "cheated" with a bus that was supposed to be 3/8 and increased it to 4/8 because of this lack of detail space but to do it on this, well, simple van, that would be too much IMO.Eddy Arfik wrote:While I agree that it would be quite useless in-game, I have to say at least for the modern Hiace the stated capacity is correct, 11 seats in the back, plus driver and passenger seat up front = 13.
