Re: [OTTD] City Tram Track
Hi flogeza,
These are looking very nice. However, with the Eiffel tower not being your creation from the start, do you have permission to use and release it?

My Scenarios:
Archipiélago Hermoso (Latest Release: Version 3.2)
Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)

Re: [OTTD] City Tram Track
Unless the file explicitly states that the image is freely given away, or is under a license that lets you use it (Public Domain, Creative Commons, GPL, etc.) then you must assume that it is copyrighted and you need to seek the permission of its creator in order to use or distribute it.flogeza wrote:i didnt find who draw that, but where the pic was there werent any copyrights. On the Eiffel Tower, though, I agree I think it would look better resized as a 3x3.
I think the one building that bugs me the most is the almond-shaped building. It honestly looks like somebody took a photo, poorly compressed it as a JPEG, and then compressed it again as a GIF. It's a nice-shaped building and I think it would look great in the game. But that's just me. Definitely not saying you shouldn't use it (well, as long as it's your creation or you have explicit permission to distribute )

Re: [OTTD] City Tram Track
... so later today i will try to find the original creator... ,,,, now i creating this:, after this i create a new "skin" for that building ,ok?
Re: [OTTD] City Tram Track
But until you have permission to use the eiffeltower graphics, you should remove all GRFs containing that building! Dont take copyrighting too lightly!!!

Re: [OTTD] City Tram Track
OK, no problem with copyrights ,a company owned it, but they disappeared ,or went down. And the creator doesnt care about i use it or not.... And i remade it...

Re: [OTTD] City Tram Track
Nice work!
The swimmingpool is gorgeous! Very tempting to take a dive!
I do feel that the tenniscourts and football pitches are a bit too big and shouldnt the goals be on grass too? The poor goalie will hurt himself on that gravel when diving for the ball
