Hi V,

Do we really need additional GRF to make YETI functional?
I tried to use standard train from OpenGFX, and there is no options to load YETI (no choice between standard cargo to bring YETI).

You do.

It's not YETI, this holds for any non-standard cargo. As soon as you pick up an industry set, switch to a different train set.
If you don't want to wander too far from home, have a look at OpenGFX+. That are the original vehicles, but recoded for better cargo support and other nice features.

Hi, I am a transport tycoon fan who just started to have more time to explore OpenTTD "wide choices" and i really love the complexity of Yeti Setup because of my profession in supply chain... yet i am stuck in 2 things and really appreciate a really basic answer
1) what is the best NEWGRF downloads for a Yeti Setup (hundred choices are there)
2) Yeti Dudes never Shows up even after delivering Passengers and Food.
... and if they are "produced" what type of train wagon i should use...
I have been searching for this for he last 6 hours and could not find a clear answer.

sorry if this is a late reply but, yeti dudes needs different stuff based on what train set you are using. for some they count as passengers and for some they count as cargo. you do need to have something that can load them for them to show up. here is a tip: try to load yeti dudes before you send stuff to the worker yard. the worker yard does have a base production of yeti dudes after all. the worker yard will produce yeti dudes either way but, they produce more if you send the cargo you specified in the parameteres. warning: there is some rare worker yards that have a base production of 0. those is a bad idea to focus on either way.

is this project completely discontinued? i got an idea for it: my idea is to add a setting that enables generation of yei dudes from any of the current cargoes. the current settings allows selection of either passengers, mail, tired yeti or nothing. why not add a setting for everything: mail, passengers and tired yeti. this is actually my favorite gameplay mod.
