I’ve not played OpenTTD for many months. When I did, I always played with Pikka’s British stuff...
... and yet, I’ve never been so excited to get back to my laptop and get a game going with this alpha - it all looks magic.
Now to work out how much of FIRS I want to play with

Honestly, I love the way how railcars still look great with supplementary cars added. That sadly isn't the case for all train sets, but this one is really great for this reason.
Also, you did a nice job finding names for the locomotives. At first, I didn't even realise the names of the passenger metros are actually names of lost rivers in London - although the Fleet could have been a tube line itself !
I really like it compared to the first Iron Horse, it's got much more electrics, and even narrow-gauge engines.
Again, it's just a suggestion, but do you think you would make tramcar-like trains for electric narrow gauge tracks ? The Manx Electric Railway is the only example in the UK, but I think it would be an excellent addition. Again, it's just a suggestion.

I was under-whelmed by the small freight engine sprites.
Fixed that.
100mph on an 0-8-0 chassis eh?

I didn't like the double-headed Shredder much either. Express engines have been shuffled around to fix that.
There's a bit of 'my favourite train' going on there. I like Cromptons. It's also a hat tip to the SH/Hendry 25 in the original base set. They're all some kind of rat.

Those rats look great!
The good thing about FIRS engineering supplies is it gives you a light cargo that means you don't automatically buy the most powerful engine.

You mean 4-2-0 Crampton engines? They never became too popular in Britain, did they?

Ah, I thought he meant
this one! I obviously must have spent too much time reading about steamers.

Looks lovely Andy - You've convinced me to emerge from a 9+ month OTTD hibernation!

2.0.0-Alpha-2 now on Bananas
It would be handy to know if you see any missing cargo graphics. Not all cargos will get dedicated graphics, but I'll do what I can for bulk cargos and piece cargos
*Changes from 2.0.0 Alpha 1*
- no savegame compatibility with 2.0.0 Alpha 1
- adjusted small freight engines
- renamed Faun to Hercules
- added Goliath small freight engine
- improved sprites
- adjusted HP to balance away from medium-sized express engine
- reorganised express engines
- Dragon is now high-HP and is an upgrade from Pegasus, not Tencendur
- added Kelpie, upgrade from Tencendur
- added Griffon, upgrade from Kelpie
- Shredder adjusted, now a medium-sized engine, in gen 6, upgrade from Griffon
- changed colour scheme of Turtle
- electric freight engines
- added Gosling Blast gen 6 electric freight engine
- adjusted HP for Peasweep and Flanders Storm for balance
- added Express Cars as an alternative to Mail cars
- completed all sprites for narrow gauge wagons
- wagons with opening doors now close them in stations if fully loaded
- reorganised engines in buy menu
- changed the en-gb translation to use more typically British names for wagons
- updated translations from web translators

I don't see you see any missing cargo graphics. I tried coal, iron ore and wood.

Yair so Horse.
Depending on game year, there are up to 6 mail vans or express vans are available. Loads of choice.
But there are never more than 2 pax coaches: shorter 'standard' coach and longer 'luxury' coach.
Something to adjust?
