They have amazing 3d mode!
Every time I see it I think about TTD.

imho a it's great place to get inspired for new graphics or come up with new ideas

I must agree this looks totally epic ! It kind of reminds me of the comic pak for simutrans (for which a port to openttd had been started, but never got very far).

Reminds me of simcity. It looks amazing, but notice how many buildings have somesort of solar panels on the roofs.

Its more like simcity styled building in a CiM engine... lower quality, i thought

I notice the Forbidden City, so my question: is it a model of Bejing or some fictionalised version of Bejing.

Edit: Did some map comparison and it really seems to be a model of Bejing. Great work they did there.

It does seem to be a map of Beijing in a isometric comic style, but I must say something like this would be good for citizens and tourists alike. With the graphics like that its clean and easy to see where things are.

I would really love it if graphics like this where in OpenTTD, or SimCity, though the roads do look similar to cities XL roads
