Useless Tracks

Yeah, I was thinking about that while I wrote the above. But decided not say anything about it in the hope nobody would notice :P

If someone wants to draw better sprites for use on snow then by all means be my guest. Here's the file that needs editing: https://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/us ... d_snow.png

I find it very helpful when I see results during drawing. Thus I created this file for drawing roads and rails :-)

I hope I'm allowed to comment in a thread last active in 2013?

I really like this NewGRF. I always replace my old tracks with the lifted tracks.
But what I don't really like, is the fences. Is there any way to remove them?

You can use wired, it also have useless track, but without fences. I'm using it both for planning and for removing tracks.

I was wondering if there was anyway to have the track be compatible with other track types? As mentioned above I like to use the lifted tracks type to represent former tracks that I have replaced or would have deleted, and I unfortunately cannot represent former junctions with these tracks, as it gives me the error "Impossible Track Combination". This also causes issue with diagonal track.

This is an issue with all track types in regular OpenTTD. JGR Patch Pack has a fix for this.
Currently working under the name 'reldred' on Github, and Discord.
NFO/NML coder, part-time patch writer for JGRPP, and all round belligerent.

unfortunate that this is a game limitation. thanks for the info that JGR has a fix for this!
