I've got a DOS palette for GraphicConverter, a very good graphics editor for Mac. Would you be interested in adding it to that list? Should I just attach it here or send it to you through PM?

Re: GRFCodec Problems (Formerly UKRoads /w Signs)
Code: Select all
C:\Users\Leanden\Desktop\NML>grfcodec -e UKRoadsetw.nfo
Encoding in temporary file UKRoadsetw.new
Loading sprites/UKRoadsetw.pcxssed:100% (Transparency:100%, Redundancy:100%)
sprites/UKRoadsetw.pcx: Error: Unrecognized palette, aborting.
Specify -f on the command line to override this check.
EDIT: I downloaded the latest release and it worked, which would imply to me that there is something wrong with the nightly.
Now that i know it works, i'll start working on this properly. Still got the problem that i can't see the GRFID in that NFO though.

Re: GRFCodec Problems (Formerly UKRoads /w Signs)
Good luck with this Leanden! If you're really full of spare time, you could look at the lack of Total Bridge Replacement Set and UK road set compatibility?
Re: GRFCodec Problems (Formerly UKRoads /w Signs)
Goes to show how long ago it was that I actually issued a grfcodec encode command... But you're right; I really should pay more attention to these things...PikkaBird wrote: Silly FooBar, you don't need to specify a palette when encoding...
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.1)
Is it possible in NFO to randomise the sprite for a T-Junction?
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.1)
Looks pretty good.
You say the yellow flashing in Arctic is known about; What about the tunnel rooves? They flash yellow spots in all 3 normal climates. ALso occurs in the road menu on the tunnel icon, and the freight station icon.
Apologies if you already know about this.

I fail to understand the purpose of this post/quote-without-reply, please elaborate.spieker131 wrote:PikkaBird wrote:That pcx looks fine to me, at a glance. Did you try doing what the grfcodec error message suggested?

Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.2)
is that normal that the groung stop line is not on the same side of roads ?
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.2)
so what's with the giant white area on the image?
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.2)
can t you zoom in the image ?
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.2)
so... why should 100 people reading these forums be forced to do a useless zoom in when you could cut the image to the right size with 3 clicks?
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.2)
Actually, that's Leanden's screenshot from the first post. So he spent three clicks to add the white area and make the file ten times biggerEddi wrote:...when you could cut the image to the right size with 3 clicks?
Re: [OTTD] UKRoads /w Signs Dev Thread (Current v0.2)
hey you are kidding guys ? right ?
This Forum is really a hatefull place... i mean i m trying to help Leanden by showing something and all i get is stupid hatefull/answer...
You guys really think i was adding the white stuff in purpose ? for your info, i simply copied the image, pasted it in paint... added two circle...saved it and posted it back on the forum...now, if your not interested in the shot, nobody forces you to open it , also i just can t believe someone spend some time writing this :
Leanden : All my apologies for the off topic going on... cause apparently it s all my fault
