Stations that automatically adapt to the nearest industry?

Re: MAYONNAISE, KETCHUP, SALT_AND_VINEGAR
Sadly we can't do that with current specPikkaBird wrote:Stations that automatically adapt to the nearest industry?
Ideally there would just be two station tile types: 'magic station with track' and 'magic station without track'

I think its the candy coloured buffers. Could this be the start of a buffer set? I particularly like the doubled buffered tracks where access is blocked both in and out. The attending buildings and tiles are nice too.

Strange how the building ground tiles match the platforms. Is this an error?

Both grfs might originate from the same pixel artistwallyweb wrote:Well, they are still nice.planetmaker wrote:I think the buildings are industries, not stationswallyweb wrote:I think its the candy coloured buffers. Re: MAYONNAISE, KETCHUP, SALT_AND_VINEGAR
Or the platforms and industries have a mutual sensitivity to one another? (Is this even possible?)planetmaker wrote:Both grfs might originate from the same pixel artist

Re: MAYONNAISE, KETCHUP, SALT_AND_VINEGAR
We discussed that. That seems unfortunately not possible. One can detect that there is _a_ industry. But not which nor which industry tile.wallyweb wrote:Or the platforms and industries have a mutual sensitivity to one another? Just out of curiousity: why can't it detect which type of industry?planetmaker wrote:We discussed that. That seems unfortunately not possible. One can detect that there is _a_ industry. Re: MAYONNAISE, KETCHUP, SALT_AND_VINEGAR
If I understand correctly then there is no reliable way to tell what type of industry is located on (x,y) because that information isn't stored?
