Thanks! You will get a chance, but not too soon, this is the only direction which already drawn of them (but for trams it could be used for the other 3 directions with only re-shading).
And I'd like to ask, is it possible to have the cargo trams a different grahics when refitted to food (or refrigerated class things)?

Hi Zephyris,

FIRS 0.6 adds Alcohol cargo (label BEER). It uses classes Express, Liquid, Piece Goods. For some reason no eGRVTS vehicles are refitting to it. I don't think I screwed up the classes - other sets support it.

Maybe I just hit an unlucky combination of classes that is blocked by the refit masks?

I think I made tankers reject piece goods, flatbeds reject liquids and express reject liquids :S I'll add it to my long list of changes to do!

The redesigned double-deckers and coaches are done.
Are they still generic enough? I catch myself on copying real buses into a generic set :S

It would be good if some of the later ones were a couple of pixels shorter... At the moment I think they will glitch a bit too much...

OK, I try to cut some pixels down...
Edit: What is the maimum total lenght in diagonal views what we can use with some acceptable glitches?

Cool :) The issue is that the tall sprites already glitch a bit and making them longer too will just make this worse...

:? Then which would be the better:
-Having cool looking sprites which would be glitching at the tunnels/bridges,
-Having less cool looking sprites with less glitching?

That's a very good question... I would say aim smaller and less glitchy; it also makes them look more in-scale with the trains.

Then there are the modified sprites, only the lenght reduced. As I saw on the train templates, the maximum not-glitching lenght is 22 px, so I modified the longer sprites to 22 or max 23 px, I think that 1 px glith is acceptable and not so visible.
The 5th gen DD bus loses it's illusion of it's verry large :?

22px.

usually there are 6px for the front and rear, and 16px for the length of the sprite. If that made sense. See image.

Height is tho optional, but if too high, there might be some glitches in the tunnel entrances, but most people dont complain so much about that.

It's me again. I'd like to ask of should I draw loading sprites with open doors for buses and trams? German Road vehicle set and Ikarus Set is having a feature of trams and buses open their door and turn on rihblinkers while loading, are you planning to add this to the new eGRVTS?

You can do, it would be good to have those sprites available. Sorry I haven't been around much btw., as you may have guessed real life has hit hard and I don't have much time for drawing/coding atm...

I love these bus sprites, i'd love to recolor some of these to make a bus set that could be used to represent the UK buses.

I know it's a bit topic dig, but I work on the buses again.
Some of them are redesigned, and almost half of them have the other views done too.
I know the main thins in this set are the trucks, but I just don't want to work on them...
The right ones are the final versions (I think).

It may be a bit of an old topic but I definately want to get eGRVTs updated...

Those sprites are excellent, really excellent, I hope I can get some time to finish the recoding and new graphics soon.
