Ok thats good to know, vastly reduces the number of sprites needed.

On a similar par, would the same work in theory with drawing passengers appearing on the platform?

What checks are available to determine what is next to the tile(s) being built currently?

I think you could even draw just one passenger in CC blue and green and then code it to use random colours for near infinite combinations :)

In principle, yes. But in practice, it´s TMWFTLB. In addition, you´d run into problems with clipping of passengers on platforms with roofs (or other occluding objects). In addition2, it´d result into unneeded overhead to compose a platform from a dozen sprites than just from one, both computationally, and coding-wise. In fact, it boils down to achieve a balance between number of sprites used and coding overhead.

Do you have a ERT [Estimated Release Time].
Sorry if you have these a lot and are annoyed.

Also Jacko, dull and boring, I don't think you've succeeded at compliments.

Pretty much. It will be done when it's done, it's being worked on at any rate, which I guess is a bonus.

*hints at planetmaker and Yexo that NML support for stations would speed things up*

It's a fairly tedious affair coding stations in NFO unfortunately.

On the plus side, some new tiles are being planned, which won't be put up on the website (yet), so you'll have to wait and see. I will promise you though you have never seen it before

If that's all the constructive critiscism your capable of, then I highly advise you not to bother replying to this thread again, consider yourself trolloped.

Do you plan on doing some older stations as well?
I would love to be able to build a nice main terminus or branch line station without having every track separated.
I can't even think of a station which has the tracks all separated. :P
