The 2CC isn't enabled in the GRF as I don't know how

BTW payload is 38t *if* the empty weight is 14t - GVW is 52t

If so, would you classify interurbans as trams? (I would). The interurbans in the NARS are decent, but I think that if they were trams, there would be a much larger incentive to use them.

Also the Electroliner would be a welcome tram addition.
Really, they should belong in their own classification but that isn't so feasible in OTTD. On the rail vehicle spectrum between trams and railroad, interurbans would probably fall closer to railroads than trams so that would be the more logical place to put them.

Ahh, thanks, and I love this truck... you did very good :D could you possibly do a Generic Grey Bulk cargo, Coal, Copper, and Iron? Too bad I can't code a truck to make it have a greenish bulk cargo for maize (corn)

Edit : Uploading my grf with Bob Mackenzie's sprites

I usually do a reddish cargo - Iron ore, scrap, bauxite - it would also do for copper. Browny grey for gravel - it would do for "Generic" and black for coal. FIRS on the brain you see :)

I've done a livestock version too as that's an easy mod of the "Goods" truck

Re-did the original sprites as I left the tail lights off in one of the views

I think that gravel should be rather gray. That looks like lumber.

In BRBV I went for a browny colour as some of my tippers have grey "steel" bodies so I wanted some contrast. Of course when I drew my F9000 sprites I wanted compatibility

I could code... passably :P if that's good enough for you. And possibly draw - also, some of the things I want to do you might be willing to incorporate: I already have a U.S. delivery van done and am thinking of a Fuso Canter and a Ford F-series.

Anyway, I think this could be really good.

quite some nice progress here :-)

See http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... s_flags_1C_ and http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... oordinates - Company2 are those palette entries which will then be replaced by the 2nd CC, if the appropriate flag in the linked action0 property is set.

EDIT: typo

Bob, are you still making grfs with GRFmaker? If yes just click here. If not, just don't mind this comment and do what Planetmaker says :)

Cool!

This should complement NARS nicely in our servers.

Some vehicle suggestions for you:

MCI 102D3 (47 Pax)
MCI D4500 (55 Pax)
MCI 102E3 (40 Pax)
Van Hool T2150 (55 Pax)

I drive these for my job in Alaska. It would be awesome to have them in game. I will collect some more data for these things for you as well. These are coaches that would be used in long distance services, and would have top speeds of 65-70 mph or so.

Others that I would like to see:

New Flyer D35LF
New Flyer D40LF
New Flyer C40LFR

Keep up the good work, everything has to start somewhere!

Here are some NA style buses I've had floating around for awhile. They fit in scale to the trucks rather nicely.

The New Flyers are an option as well, and are planned. Hopefully these will get the ball rolling on passenger transport ;)

I've got the bus from the GTA IV, AFAIK it's an Orion V copy, so it fits in the North American area.

The GRF is getting too all around the world style. Are there many VW Caddys, Mercedes LPs and Mercedes sprinters in North America? I think these are rather European than American. I know there's some of them, but not so many as the local manufactured types. They all have the equivalent of U.S.
The american VW Caddy could be the ChevyVan (or some other Chevrolet van)
MB Sprinter ccould be a Ford E-150, and the MB LP ccould be a Mack F serie truck. I like the drawings, but if the set's name says it's North American Road Vehicle Set and there is an american manufactured version of the needed type, I think the set should contains road vehicles from NA rather than from Europe.

Well, How about this proposal.

If it's made in North America (including Mexico) then it will more then likely go in the set. If its a popular North American Import from Europe or Asia then it might go in. Because I know theres A LOT of NA imported European and Asian Trucks.
