Keep guessing.

I don't have the DOS TTD. How can I create a file for DOS? Should I simply decode the windows GRF using DOS palette and then generate the EXE? Will this work?

The "right in front of you" hint seems to indicate it may have something to do with your avatar, which looks hand drawn in TT style.

Random railroad crossings? It will randomly pick flashing lights, double-length gates, single-length gates, gates with those vertical things hanging down, etc.?

Hope somebody is taking note of the (worthy) guesses, some of which might be nice to have anyway.

The November set? That could mean:
1.) a new set for the Arctic climate, with snow on top of all the vehicles and icicles hanging down, or
2.) a USSR vehicles set. October/November (depending on the calendar) is their big month, the anniversary of Lenin's Revolution.
