Close to finished, just the key bit (the tedious bit) which makes it look like a building isnt done!

one thing. these buildings are freshly made and haven't finished being coded yet so why can i see this building on the ttd title screen above the menu and near the top? using 0.7.4 rc1 by the way.

1. Those buildings are not part of this set and are in the original graphics...
2. Grfs never have an effect on the default startup screen...

a) i have never seen these buildings before. ever.

c) i just checked and you are correct. they are original. although i don't see ow i could have missed it.... and i saw another building as well whic i didn't recognise.

Those buildings are alpine only and the opengfx replacements are quite different, that could explain it...

Arctic. The TTD climate is called Arctic (or "sub-arctic"). Alpine is a newgrf by mb. Much confusion arises from confusing these two.Zephyris wrote:Those buildings are alpine only

Has buttercup always coded your graphics? I thought with such amazing graphics as Generic Tram Set and eGRVTS you knew how to code already.

No, I far outlive buttercup on these forums! I can code, but I am lazy and I much prefer drawing (hence OpenGFX!).

Above- and below- snow line graphics
Ground tiles should be the same concrete one as I provided for the shops and offices...
*edit* It would be really nice if these buildings could cluster together a bit to generate an "industrial area" within a town, is this possible? It wouldnt have to be exclusive clustering (ie. only warehouses) just more warehouses than houses in that area...
