Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
There's always the XPT in the New South Wales Railset?
I don't have the set installed (a pain to sort out with Linux) but it might be worth a look?

I have that in Hornby Model Version, quite rare as they only released it to Australia and didn't have a rear car.. But this is going off subject this is BR not AUS

The XPT is basically the HST, or as close as it wouldn't make much difference at this scale.

Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
Cheers DJ Nekkid, there's a copy of that floating around our forum.
Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
the opengfx one is mine with some modifications done by ... someone
Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
Ah, do we know whose that is and if we have permission to use it, I've been using it, I shall stop work until I find outDJ Nekkid wrote:the opengfx one is mine with some modifications done by ... someone
Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
Yup, no point wasting time if it's not going to be useable
In the meantime, why not join us on IRC? It's faster than the forum for things that don't need to be recorded/noted, and we can sort issues faster

Legally, no need. OpenGFX is GPL. http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... &start=160 That's why GPL is an epic win.lawton27 wrote:Ah, do we know whose that is and if we have permission to use it, I've been using it, I shall stop work until I find outDJ Nekkid wrote:the opengfx one is mine with some modifications done by ... someone

Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
as he, whoever it was (danmack perhaps?) asked me, i see little point in asking him if you can edit his edited work
Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
It's still always nice to ask - my work is GPL, but I'd prefer if someone asked before using it.

Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
I'd very much love to see a British Rail Set for TTD. Looking forward to seeing it.
Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
I do believe it was me that modified the HST for Open GFX. You do have my permission to use it, as well as anything else I've drawn at this point. That includes my Class 20 and my Deltic.

Dan MacKellar

Re: [BROS] British Rail Openttd Set
Dan, is that okay to be under the GPLv2?
As you may have noticed further up, we're being very strict on it to avoid any potential problems later on - that also means that everything in the set has to be GPLv2.

Tell you what, Dan. They certainly have a life of their own when they bloom in colour. Been a very good model to recolour, I reckon.
