Yes, you guys may use the current UKRS sprites as a starting point (bear in mind that some of the UKRS vehicles are little-modified original TTD sprites, if that's of concern to you).

I offered to help with the original BR set but nothing was ever done, I'd like to help with this set too, I see a bright future if it's to be based off ukrs (but in rl colours), I'd be happy to help.

P.S.
I'd like to get started on some HST liveries if possible (I love that train).

One note, it's not exactly an expansion of the UKRS - it's more of a "what the BROS can use of the BRset's graphics" along with what can be reasonably converted from the UKRS into BR liveries.

Hopefully that clarifies things.

Good, good, I'm doing that now, I've found 14 different HST liverys and I'm applying them to the ukrs hst sprites, I'll post on the BROS forum when I have a space and a descent amount of liveries.

You BROS guys will need to stay on the right side of the GPL so you won't be able to use some UKRS sprites.

That's a very good point, Lawton - I'm afraid that the HST can't be used in this set.

Although Pikka is happy to release his graphics, he can't release the eurostar and HST (along with a couple of others) under the GPL since they weren't his to start with (the same reason that the original graphics aren't distributed with the game).
