Multi unit trains being those with a rear engine?

Also autoreplace automatically attached these wagons.

OK.

I started a testgame game in 3000 and noticed that there was only one maglev train, without any wagons. Is something wrong?

no, most trains come in the 1900's and early 2000's. Try starting in lets say 2010 instead. Then you will have most of your trains, including wagons.

and that maglev train, thats just a test-train we once made :p

So the TransRapid set is effectively useless? Or is there another way? That train is very desirable with that speed - it just doesn't carry enough passengers!

Also I had my vehicles set to not expire. The other trains were there, I meant that out of maglev there was only one train.

I know Im not really suppose to use wagons and cars from other sets but, Im not sure if you people have noticed but when using 2cc trains with other standerd scale sets (NARS, UKRS, etc) on the NW \\ the cars\wagons cover half the locomotive that comes before the first car

its not going to kill the game play, just.. well, looks a bit weird

Maybe I'll add those once I've upgraded to maglev. Is the TransRapid set under development or is it a dead end? If it's the latter, then there's seriously a shortage of decent maglev sets.

EDIT: To be honest I'd be happy with one passenger and one mail wagon.

yeah, most people focus on trains that exist (or will come into existance or was in existance) cause I think some of us lack imagenation for beyond 2050 Train ideas, maybe make powerful, but slightly slower maglevs for frieght, would be fun, watch my 1,000 Tonnes of coal fly by at 250 Mph! Weeee!

Would it be at all possible to have the regular maglev trains on the Transrapid tracks? I really need fast trains for what I'm doing. Would it also be possible to keep that 'test' train with them (or maybe have that test train with regular 2cc/original maglev wagons)? Thanks.

Yes, the TransRapid Track Set doesn't do anything with the trains. It just replaces the tracks. It doesn't include trains and it never will include trains.

The Transrapid Track Set is under development in a way that it needs some tweakings and finishing touches, but other that that it's mostly done.

There's a grf around somewhere that re-enables the original vehicles. I believe it's on the online content for download.

Are there any trainsets with trains faster than 400 mph (besides the 2cc one, of course)? Would the original wagons look strange if attached to the 2cc maglev train?

If anyone would be willing to help expand the set, there's a nice train being used in China:

I once planned that if the maglev tracks were insanely expensive, we would add inn some "real" maglevs, but as the price currently is linked with monorail, plus the fact that it can max cost around 2500£ its still not enough for me. If i could tweak the price to 20k/tile ish, i think it would be fun. Insane infrastrukture price, but 50% lower running cost then a similar rail-bases train.

If you'd put the electromagnets in the train and not the track, a maglev track isn't really much more expansive than a monorail track. They're basically both a concrete beam on top of some columns...

Instead make the trains insanely expensive ;)

Would you want this set translated to Swedne? I notice you have a few Translators listed on the website

But; monorail isnt monorail, monorail is 3rd rail in the 2cc-set world, and elrail cost about 5x "monorail" now...

But ofcourse, we can make the maglev trains insanely expensive, how does 3mill/trainset sound? :)

I think most of the player base will have tens of millions by the time a maglev comes out, if not hundreds of millions. I think each should set should cost at least 10 mil to buy, and close to a million to run every year.

I could get the Norwegian done by a Norwegian friend of mine, Nekkid :) I would not be able to translate it properly on my own. Now, where and how do I start?
