Who want's to do it, I am very lousy at this so I ask you...

The site is real flexible in terms off design, you can mess with almost everything... add javascripts at free will

Somebody want's to make a good design with me?

Hey, what do you need exactly - I can make you TTD animated frontpage imitation screen in Flash (just working on a main music theme, pretty cool - based on the original TT theme).

I'm also working on a utility for extracting those sounds from TTD.. Did you know that some sounds were actually never used. Like 'Jet flyby'

Ok, I'm going to post you a demo flash soon enough, and the famous 'Morse' sound...

Oh, I forgot - flashes I make are usually interactive (complex scripting), so I can make the entire site GUI. How much space do you have?

And JC, think we can manage it together? Perhaps if you do the sketches (design-related) and layouts? It's your call after all..

, it will be slow for 56k users, I've seen those sites before and they are not what I think is good, so no flash movies please...

I agree with Dinges: Flash sucks. No matter which Flash-site you enter, there is always an option like 'skip intro'. Duh, doesn't that ring a bell to the designers?

Flash can actually be great if the designer can keep a low filesize. But the moment you're having to wait while a fancy movie loads they become tedious. The main problem I would fnid with a flash intro is that the main users of the site will be people who frequently visit it to simply download graphics. It may be impressive once or twice, but after that it would become tiresome.
