One hopes that a North American Road Vehicle set will be released someday, but the projects appear dead.
My point is that LV contains a full NA set, it just doesn't make it accessible as such; my understanding of coding for these is such that it wouldn't be too hard to make this an option from the start, but is damn near impossible to reverse engineer from just the release (assuming George would even let someone do it), hence the request.
PS
Looking at this it seems more impatient than I intended, sorry George, it really is intended as a polite request, not a demand.

This looks good.
Have you spent a long time tweaking offsets and vehicle lengths? I noticed you've got drawbars working between the truck and the trailer. I've got drawbars for articulated vehicles in HEQS, but I *cannot* get them looking good...I've spent a long time trying and I'm sick of them, so my plan was to remove the drawbars from my set

I've made templates first and adjusted them. Yes, that took time, but it was a must. After that I started to adjust my old graphics to fit new templates. It takes time, but not too much.

Can't say they are too good. They are very dark and rarely seen, but making them light makes them to look strange.
I love it. I also love the drawbars. Part of me wants to scream at the screen every time a truck goes around a corner, "DOUBLES DON'T TURN LIKE THAT" - but that's a game limitation.
I did notice something about the art, though. Are these trucks really supposed to be articulated behind the cab? If so, the tractor unit's rear wheels are missing in action. They, however, look like they're supposed to be a straight, unarticulated body all the way back to the drawbar.

Looks very good, George. I didn't see any regular semi-trailers which is what i'm really waiting for (i used to drive semi over-the-road). Here in America we actually rarely see double- and triple-trailer semis, except in very busy corridors like Washington-New York or the suburbs of Chicago, for example. (BTW make sure those loads are truly double and triple the capacity, maybe at a cost of speed or moolah!)
But these look good so far, and it only makes the waiting harder!
Even if they don't run in large numbers and only in some countries in Europe, i thing these are very interesting vehicles. It's something you can put in the near future and it gives you a large space for your cargo's...
