Very well done, and although they look like they would be excellent for a warm climate, perhaps you could do a snowy version for Arctic? 8)

Congratulations on your first set :) It looks really nice :)

Is there a grf parameter to disable default buildings like with other building sets?

Thanks :) .

Unfortunately the set has no parameters to disable default buildings because this set has only wall to wall buildings. If I got enough motivation, I might release other buildings and rename this set :) .

Added a little noise and reduced the brightness slightly:

No offense, but the building is too dirty to be used in game :P .

The brightness is OK to me though.

Tee hee, that's a neat one, actually!

Will someone take the time to make the necessary edits to make the buildings face the road?

That's the CartoonTTD I was speaking about :D

OT: Btw, where did that gorgeous LEGO TTD project get stuck?

 It needs black outlines.

EDIT : I wonder if this can be in GRFCrawler because this set is finished :) .

I guess you can.

And to buttercup, I love this look for the game, it goes really well with the buildings! It would be great as a toyland or even as a temperate replacement, and if enough people like it it might in time become a total replacement (like the mars thing).

You can (and as the creator of this set should) do that youself. Just make sure you're logged in to the forums and then just visit http://grfcrawler.tt-forums.net/ to find out that you have the ability to add new entries yourself.

I had an idea for something like this a while ago - a blueprint or cartoon-style TTD would be awesome!

I'll second that. If the graphics for the noisy ones is already made, why not incorporate it in the set and make it selectable by a parameter?
