I don't mind. I can't code for TTD/OTTD, so could you send me what you coded. (I'd love to have an F45/FP54)

Seems like i've encountered a slight bug in 2.03. The Alco RS-3 states 1,600 HP in the purchase menu, but has 1,750 HP in the vehicle details window. This doesnt seem to happen with any other locomotives.

NARS 2.03 parameters 0 7 1 1 5 1

Btw, Im using OPenTTD r24093

Neko, I think the RS3 bug is an old one.

I did a C424/425 and a C430. I also did a correct E7A (bulldog nose like the E8/9, but body from E6).

I'm still using a modified FP45 from the US set for P3's FP45 because I can't quite get the warbonnet to look right. IDK if I'll work on it some more becasue I'm not certain if the F45/FP45 would be included in a NARS update.

I attempted to make passenger cars to match the Hudsons, but found out it wasn't neccasary. P2 and P4's are good matches to the passenger cars I did. P3's hudson matched P1's Passenger cars, and P1's Huson matches the all-silver passenger cars already in the set. I'd say swap P3's and P1's Hudsons and we'd be golden.

I attempted to "correct" the Uboats, but they wind up being hard to tell from the alcos at this size without the winged radiator. I'll give it another go if there is intrest. BTW, is there any chance of making the U33/36C and U33/36B part of the set? (perhaps seperate from the U30C/B)

Nice work Pack Man, I really love all the new stuff you've drawn up ^w^ It's nice to see someone tackled the AC6000CW and the DD35 (and its boosters)

Thanks. The DD35 is just a mock-up I did from memory. I should be able to get it done soon (after looking at a picture of course).

Edit, looking at pictures, the 2nd row of DD35s is correct, radiators face inwards. The DD35A is wrong though, it has flared raditors like the DD40AX. Only issue left to resolve is should it be the same length as the DD35, or shorter?

I'd love to do an SD90MAC or an SD70ACe, I tried but I'm having difficulties getting the radiator and dynamic brake area to look right. IIRC, Canset has an SD90MAC but I decompiled it and can't find it. I asked Danmack for hit but haven't gotten a response yet.

The 90MAC was planned, but deemed redundant because of ID limitations and usage. I can still draw it up, but it hasn't gotten beyond the planning stage yet.

Quite the range of locos. I tried to keep some semblance of limitation, but there are A LOT that weren't included. Nice work so far.

Not sure when the update's happening.

Also, feel like doing a BQ23-7 as a livery variant for one of the players? :P

Problem with having the AC6000CW and the SD90MAC-H is that they both have similar specs, only the SD90MAC-H is less reliable and costs more to run. Also I believe the SD90 runs at 70 MPH while the AC6000CW runs at 75MPH, making it a better choice for Medium-speed bulk/intermodel freight.

Edit : Also, heres a suggestion for another EMD loco, how about the SD75i? I know its mostly a canadian thing but it would be nice to see it on my North American railroads

Edit 2 : Blah! I keep thinking up of things that can be included!! DX Anyways, how about making the EMD FP59 a generational locomotive like the F/E units, having the blockier, wide nosed FP59 PH (used by GO Transit before they switched to the MP40's), and then have the FP59 PHI (the smoother, well known FP59) come out later.

Another thing, I've seen some transit companies uprating the FP59 PHI to 3200HP instead of the stock 3000HP. Though I imagine this would make the locomotive a little less reliable (like over clocking a CPU, which could overheat and become damaged)

DanmacK; Ah, okay. IMO, an SD90 sprite could be modified (shorten the the engine area?) for an SD70ACe/SD70M-2. I tried but the rear portion is hard for me to get to look right.

Thanks for the compliments. Do you think a DD35 should be as long as the DD40AX or shorter? I have mock-ups for it as both.

I'm still having fun with the set the way it is. The longer the update takes, the more time I have to put in more vehicles for consideration

As for a BQ23-7, I could try. But given it was a one-road diesel and there were only 10 IDK if it's worth it (but then we have the GG-1, Duplex, DD40AX, W1, and a coupler other oddballs).

NekoMaster, There is an SD40-2 and a U30C/C30-7.They were fairly similar in specs too...

IDK about an SD70I, how would you tell the difference in the cab at such small sizes? As for an F59PH, it looks kinda like an F40PH to me, and has similar specs.

Frankly the only think I wish would change about the set is the F40PH losing power for cars. IMO, it should change when they went to the Ph2 units.

Pack Man, there is a difference in looks between the F40PH and F59PH

EMD F59PH : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:GO_Tr ... kville.JPG

EMD F40PH : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Amtra ... ve_406.jpg

Also, doing some research, turns out the F59PHI (the smoother, curvy model) was rated at 3200 HP by default. So I think we could have the F59PH as one of the first decent commuter locomotives with a seperate HEP genset, instead of a 2nd generator sharing power and reducing RPM from the main engine.

Wow, DD35s.
I would like to vote for these B-Units, regardless of the presence of any other dual-engine big beef locomotive, such as the DDA40X. They would be a very nice addition to the GP35, as there were intended in RL. The DD35 should obviously be a bit shorter than the DDA40X, but it should have almost the same length as it's DD35A counterpart.

Here's something other than the DD35

Thanks to ISa for letting me modify his sprite.

I figured out what I'm going to do for the DD35B, it'll be shorter than the DD40AX. IDK about the A, I haven't figured out if the A is longer yet. (besides, a DD35A looks like a DD40AX with a different cab)

tada. I made the B-unit shorter than the DD40, but the A is the same length. I did this because it was easier to make that way. I could shorten the A, but it'd look strange IMO.

Sorry, been busy...

The DD35 A & B were 88' long, the DD40AX was 98' long. I'd say the length for the B-Unit is right for the 'A' as well. I can't remember if the DD40 is 9/8 or 10/8. If it's 10/8, then make the DD40 9/8...

The DD40AX is 10/8.

So make the A-unit 9/8? Back to the drawing (or cutting) board.

Figured out a way to make the U-boats more accurate, without looking like alcos. I looked at my model Alcos and my model U-boats to help with this one.
