The inelegant route is of course to stick a shedload of bouys by the coast and make ships follow their route. I wouldn't, because setting up bouy routes is painful, but it would work.

I'm not so much patience to deal with pixel tweaking, so i need help in this regard. Perhaps part of the ships will appear in DanMack's NASS
This topic needs pixel artist and grf maker :)

I have concluded that the ship should be done in a piecemeal.
This one - general cargo marine vessel (may be 1500 - 3000 cargo items)

Maybe there is one who wants to make ships set from my pics? I know that it will be a lot of work :(

I really would like to, but unfortunately I have too many projects on atm :s . Please keep drawing them though, and don't feel disheartened, finding a coder can take time. With enough graphics of this standard someone will want to code them.

*edit* You may want to make a thread in TTDPacth graphics asking for a coder, they tend to be found there more than the OpenTTD section.

It is my logical arrangement of the normal colours of the windows TTD palette, also available as a fetching widescreen wallpaper here.

Very nice, lead@!

Tell me, do you use blender to render your sprites? May I have the rig that you use? I am having a little trouble working everything out.

PikkaBird, i'm using 3d max. Don't understand what you mean exactly ( about rig - have some troubles with translator, probably something about sails?), but if it is about some of my pics - feel free to use :)

Fair enough. I guess I'll just have to try and work out blender myself. :P

I have a blender set-up for rendering 8bpp sprites, would you like it?
