I think it fits well here. The other thing I would like to know is is there a list of sound IDs? Trial and error gets tedious!

Sadly, I've got an "Unexpected Sprite" fatal error when trying to load the graphics. OTTD r14597. Anything I can do on my part? I already tried loading the grf alone, no further grfs loaded.

I can add to this re TTDPatch r2072 where i get invalid sprite #119 (code 1/0). As above, I loaded the grf alone except for the mandatory ttdpbasew.grf

That means someone skipped an action 1/5/A/12 without skipping the corresponding real sprites. Don't do that.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Not exactly...

Code: Select all

  118 * 91 0C "Sprites for autoroad GUI; no way "
"to code them yet, included for potential "
     "future versions" 00
  119 sprites/susmon.pcx 258 792 09 13 20 0 4
  120 sprites/susmon.pcx 290 792 03 36 64 -18 -8
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.

as long as this error still exists (we had someone in the irc channel today with that same error) would you mind removing it from bananas? it causes confusion and unnessesary support effort!

This set is great!
There's just one thing though.
If a suspended monorail is crossing a bridge from the far side, it is drawn on top of the rails from the close side. See the attached image.
The monorail is running on the far side, but its sprite is on top of the rails' sprite.
I suppose this is probably an issue with how OpenTTD draws sprites and you can't fix it.

Still, making the bridge invisible makes a really cool effect in places like this location :)

Yeah, sad to say that is an issue with the sprite drawing order of OpenTTD and me abusing the tram graphics to make a suspended monorail. Good to see the set in use though!

Nice GRF :-)

I think suspended monorail should have to have its separate group and don't replace trams. And it would be nice if it could be build it over rivers ( one tile water ), like in Wuppertal :-)

Could you try to add this as a new roadtype?
I love it, but the only downside is as it's a replacement set I can't use GRVTS, eGRVTS, BATS or HEQS's trams.
A few other things. The stops look kinda unrealistic (but since it's a road type I can't see how it would work with buses other than making custom bus stop sprites with both levels), and when it's not on road it makes it the same as trams, which is bare dirt tiles, which kinda look off. But other than that, keep expanding on it!
IJN Takao is life. Why did the Shinano get converted? Gotta love NeuroTec for Garry's Mod. I even have a server!
