Now includes different sprites for Arctic Climate. CC in arctic is all around, to make some people happy! :D
NOTE: The grf will not change the depots in Tropic Climate. This is intentional.
Also fixed a typo in code of Toyland RoadDepots.

:?: What about Tram depots? Are the addons in OpenTTD extra grf new artwork or copy-paste from TTD sprites?
That depot is VERY nice! I like that texture of the walls a lot.

I added the tram depot to the list at the Wiki. The current one is basically the default road vehicle depot with some stuff on the roof. I don't know if that stuff is derived from some other graphics, or if PikkaBird has drawn something completely from scratch. If the latter is the case, we could use the same stuff for the roof, else not. Or wait till the new power plant graphics are finished, and use some stuff from that.

I currently have one set of bus stations coded. Coding those is a royal pain in the you-know-what. Every station has four sprites, where two would suffice. Hopefully I can reuse most of the code (=size, pos, rel) for the other bus stations and the truck stations.

Maybe we can add some previews of the graphics on to the wiki page?
So it is much easyer to follow all the changes, and it looks cool to ;). (I can do it if you want to ;))

keep up the great work!

Go ahead, but please do that on a seperate page. I'm not really interested in having images in a tracking table. That's just a waste of valueable space, since the table is pretty full as it is now (width-wise).

I think we should decide which version of fences we will use in project.

The paper car looks OK as a flatcar with rolls of paper, but I think the steel should be long girders on a flatcar with vertical sidebars, like the original flatcar. The wood flatcar should also have these.

The water tanker should be visually distinguishable from the oil one. Currently they are the same.

Getting to look good overall - love it.

Hi again from me.

I ditched the pax/mail cars until further notice, but; i had some inspiration from the following foto to make a HST 125 (SH 125) Personally do i think it look awsome, _atlest_ compared to the other things ive posted after the chimaera... Have a look a the screenshot, did it with a few of the most used CC's

the wagons might need some noise/texturing inbetween, but it's pretty much done i think...

Only done the ___ view yet, but still... The other will come later or tomorrow :)

edit; slight change, uploaded new picture.

I think the box shaped wagons (good, food, livestock, passengers etc.) need to be a bit more taller (or narrower). I also think that the roofs shouldn't be in CC. That's just too much CC for just a small wagon.

The basic shape of the wagons is pretty good, they just need some finishing touches.

Also, the rubber wagon should be some kind of hopper, as crude rubber is not easy transported on flatcars.

Nice, but oil and water looks the same ... and goods and livestock are IMHO also too similar.
If you need something, do it yourself or it will be never done.

My patches: Extra large maps (1048576 high, 1048576 wide) (FS#1059), Vehicle + Town + Industry console commands (FS#1060), few minor patches (FS#2820, FS#1521, FS#2837, FS#2843), AI debugging facility

Other: Very large ships NewGRF, Bilbo's multiplayer patch pack v5 (for OpenTTD 0.7.3)

Zephyris,
Killer 11 wrote:try make them a bit darker as original ones are darker by a tiny bit.
Its not so much darker, than more contrast. The standard ones used slightly darker colours in the more shadowed places. Add more gradient to the shading and/or make the shading and edges a bit darker.

I agree. I think that 2CC can easily be overused. As Ive mentioned before on other areas, I think that simplicity is often the key and something like a small line of CC or a door/sign can have just as much, if not more, impact.

Great work on them though, they look excellent.

That might be the exact problem I currently have with my bus stops. The only colour used is CC. It looked acceptable in the default dark blue, but in red it's just too red.

I'll try and do the benches in the same colours I used for the benches at the rail stations. That might just be it.

But everyone can now see for him/herself, as they are coded and available for download below. The version below also includes the rail stations. The modern bus stations are introduced in 2000, but for the changes to take effect, you need to reload the game or press `apply settings` in the newgrf window.

@Zephyris: Don't include this in the Infrastructure set yet, as some things will likely be changed.

I think there are too much posts, but apart from that it looks good to me! Either try to reduce the number of posts or make 'm 1 px narrower. I think the latter is the best solution.

Re: Soeb
I think this is what FooBar and Roujin meant (see attachment, I have modified the left hand side).

And how's this for new wagons? (No toyland)

*edit*
Re: FooBar
I love the bus/truck stations (particularly the truck), although I agree - you need the benches not in company colour.

Good, though the livestock and goods are still quite similar, although better than in previous case ... perhaps having red or reddish roof for the livestock wagons?
