Mine crashed, no debug file or anything, i just went to place them on a map (running revision 1725)

Can you check for possible conflicts with other station sets, and also give us a savegame and configs of before it crashes.

I get the feeling it might be a patch problem, but I don't know anything about that.

What were your actions before it crashed?

Xeryus: Installed GRF, Enabled in game, open stations, click on rusty track, click to place, poof! it went

And the crashlog? (let me know if i'm wrong) (just spotted it)

This might not solve the problem, but you only need one or the other.

If you're running Windows, you'll need the version with the w suffix.

These are nice - thanks chaps.

Screenshots show before and after Worley Sidings for some mainline servicing facilities I've built (these are pretty efficient with pre-signals). Nice addition...maybe not quite ready for tropic yet :wink:

Is that with the solution I suggested?

Please submit your crashlog, configs and savegame to the patch team. I don't know if it's our problem or theirs but I'd rather know it's ours before sending Xeryus off on a long meandering path to find out it isn't his fault.

One aspect I noticed with Andythenorth's pictures was the rusty tracks appear to cause grass and weeds to take hold in the desert climate. Would it be possible to have different graphic sets within the whole set that can be used to correspond to the climate being used? Either have the game determine which setting is being used and default the ground template to correspond _or_ allow the player to pick and choose as needed.

Example: an old coal mine in the temperate setting would look more realistic with the dark desert template under the abandoned tracks due to years of coal, diesel fuel, and soot killing off potential plant life around the rails.

Just my thoughts.

TycoonMarkJ, have you tried loading the station set in a brand new game, also try having the sidings grf as the only grf enabled and see what happens then.

Anyone have the trg1r grf decoded as .pcx or.png please? GRF Wizard/Codec don't want to work for me and in a highly unusual and sure-to-p***-off-DaleStan way, I have no intention of asking for help.

I'm gonna draw a ground frame I think.

I know im no mod or anything, but I think you shuould send it in a pm as you shouldnt really post the copyrighted graphics here I don't think.
