That looks amazing!

Though by the age of the tram, a bit of dust on it wouldn't help :)

ill see if i can get you a real starting sound form a similiar tram to a blackpool standard (or even form one if 40 is running) on thursday when i happen to be conducting at crich

the standards AFAIK were not normally painted in cream like the later cars but either red (in the beginning) or green (later)

also there is very little between the coranation cars and the metrolink (excluding the centenary cars)
Ok i know that there wasent any tramways in britain at that time :-( but here is a might have been

(east European Tatra T3 circa 1960s)
http://www.tramway.co.uk/images/Tram%20 ... 0small.jpg

speed, about 70k
capacity, seated about 40 with standing about 120
doubled if trailer added

running costs
quite high... this beast draws 250A when accelerating!!!!!! (compare to standard class that draws about 80A)
(at 600-650 Vdc)

I don't intend to have a might have been. There are a couple of trams to fill the gaps though.

After the Coronation (of the early 50s) you have the following
OMO Car (of the mid 60s)
Jubilee Car (of the mid/late 70s)
Centenary Car (of the mid 80s)
Metrolink of the 90s.

It's all planned, it just needs to be drawn and coded ;)

Thanks for the interest though :)

Yes there is news, unfortunately it is news that nothing has been done on it! I have a few more sprites that are ok for coding but I really don't have the time to finish it at the moment. It will get done at some point but it's unlikely in the next year, I'm afraid. Cheers for the support. :)

Oh okay, take your time ! it's just a - wonderful - game !
I was just dreamin' about a set named "Trams of the world" like it's been built for the train ^^ I think that it could complete perfectly the game !

That was already said but the most annoying thing with this set is the sound trams horn...

Anyway, UK Trams will wait 2009 :D

Yeah, the horn is quite annoying I'm told (I say I'm told because I play with the sound off!)

Note, when I said "this year" I meant this academic year, ie nothing is likely until June 2009 by which time I shall be a free agent from the world of education for a good few months.

No. Bob McKenzie's stuff is where you should be looking for british stuff. The trams are sort of released in a buggy form on bananas.
