TerraGenesis is a feature for making land, not a climate.

Can you explain what you mean with "the water industries"? The only water industry I can think of (oilrigs) are already available in temperate.

Next time please check that the search actually returns useful sites.

How about the simplist solution:
Start OpenTTD
Open the Content Downloader
Download Ex's City Builder
Add it to your GRF list (And remove other Industry GRFs)
You now have water from tropic in temperate (along with a few others too).

Simples!

Does that sound like anything related to water in temperate?????

Interesting. Seems to me that the first result is the GRFCrawler page for manindu.grf.

Whether or not this grf does what the OP wants is a different matter, but the lmgtfy linky is definitely useful for finding manindu.grf.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I was answering the question "Where can i find that grf", which I did answer.

Yesterday the first link (to grfcrawler) wasn't part of the results.

No, you didn't asnwer that question because the link you gave didn't result in finding manindu.grf. Unless of course you got the grfcrawler result yesterday.

I did, of course I checked the result and it was exactly the same as today. Why would it change? The GRF is in the crawler for months.

So the lesson is: Google's results are not stable. Two people from the Netherlands tried the link and it did not show that link. As such it might be good to conclude that linking to Google isn't such a good idea! And if 'we' are going to flame people for not checking the results make a screenshot so we got some proof it doesn't show.

For what it's worth, yesterday's Google result for me only showed the following three pages:
- Transport Tycoon Forums • View topic - Project: cargodest
- OpenTTD Dunaújváros Team OpenTTD Hungary Team csoport tagja ...
- Full text of "The New Flag Vol. 2, No. 1"

Given that the original question, now, is just the simple request for Water in Temperate, which the GRF I described how to get does.
So now we've established that Google's results aren't stable, why are we still debating it? Solutions found, end of problem, unless the original poster says otherwise.

Sorry to disrupt your discussion.

Manual Industries indeed allows to fund the water industries in temperate climate. But the grf misses the newcargo part (it was well tested :p ), so water supply and tower will actually produce and accept steel.
Also the ground tiles will appear snowy.
Furthermore the grf does a lot more things which the thread author maybe does not want.

I tried the manindu.grf and so said Frosch, it produces and accepts steel.

And if I use the Ex's City Builder I only get the water tower, no water supply. :|
