I agree with UnderBuilder, C is the best. It's light, but not so much so that's it's blinding and un-realistic.

note: You could just put the choices in the first post and use the poll feature rather than doing in manually.

could you put them in context before asking that?

there is ashphelt and concrete, they are two different colours. then there is tar-sealing with gravel on top which is another colour again....

in context we can see what fits with the other graphics best.

hm, very good question!

So I'd say A and B are concrete, D and E are asphalt. So WTF is C.

Might be mastic asphalt.

What you mean with tar-sealing? The seals between the concrete slabs or the top-coat on the asphalt?

its dutch for Zeer Open Asfalt Beton, its something like very open asphalt concrete....

very good in wet conditions, it breaks up when its wet and to cold.....

maybe because zoab is a Dutch invention, and as wikipedia states, only in use in Netherlands and Belgium.

I started this poll cause I don't want to do a preview for every type. The next version will be out when the poll ends (about 5 days).

Maybe I'll add a parameter tho choose between the first and second place of the poll. So most people will be happy.

Why not the airport concrete a bit lighter and the runways this color. I think it would look better then all the airport in one color.
