Thanks for the info! You also answered about the newobject? Was thinking that Quast achieved to overlap some amount of sprites... possibly these start flickering too much? But thats sad.. I have drawn all the 4 views of that conveyor system, was a bit bored between football matches! 8)

You may place that system in front of the pile!
Then it can overlap the tile with the pile

Actually:

If you ignore the "3D" proportions and simply divide the coal tiles into four tiles, you could take the conveyor belt and divide it up, allowing you to paste the overhanging portion(s) in position over the coal tiles to give the illusion of the conveyor belt being in front when it is actually behind.

Did You mean something like that as seen below? My head just stop thinking when I read You sentence! 8)

Yes, that is similar. What I suggested was aimed at the 5-tile setup you made, but this would work perfectly as far as I can tell.

Last night almost in bed, after some TTD playing, light bulb light up... today got some time and draw it up as I imagine it (very very rough mock up). It is actually working in game, I made some decoding and encoding and got it up as I imagine... Thought I will share it (bridge) with You all!
And inspiration too.. here, here, here and here

A lovely bridge but I'm not keen on the white/ light grey ends, they stand out far too much against the brown shades of the rest of the bridge.

Thanks all... Badger don't judge me too early :)
As said above
It is actually working in game, I made some decoding and encoding and got it up as I imagine...
That means I redrew one of the bridge in existing grf :)

that bridge is pure eyeporn ! Maybe you can draw some additional beautiful bridges ? It would be totally awesome if we had "random sprite designs" for the quickest bridge, is that feasable ? like a train has a random livery, a bridge could have a random look ? (like irl, there are many highspeed bridges, with different designs, that's what i miss in the bridge-grfs)

Thanks. At the moment I dont have any plan to draw bridge, just had a brain wave and I try it out... But who knows in the future

Yeah that's a nice bridge... underside girders are quite common. Maybe an arch underside girders as well (in opposite to the usual cantilever bridges) ? Something akin of these ?

Thats probably very time consuming work as that bridge need tons of sprites to work correctly! Correct me if Im wrong...
