Desert do not border with water.

Lepkka, I assume this is not the final relase, I see there is wrong lighting. Keep it up, that's a really good job :)

don't worry, thats only for testing

in fact it's impossible to do something like that, those wide beaches, because it requires to draw on tiles that are already used in higher tiles (in the image above were tricky hidden)...

yes, i am a bad person

i've in mind new tile textures, if I find the way to finish this project decently

That won´t work by simple sprite exchanging. Because those are "normal" tiles, not "coast" tiles, there´s no possibility to distinguish them when used for building a coast from "normal" use.

To do something like that, one would need a new patch feature which would detect that such tiles would have a neighbouring water tile only at its corner but not on its edges.

Yes, and I think it´s worth doing the patch :)

I had an idea about the canals graphics. I think it would be very usefull to draw sandy edges to it, so that it could be used as a river in scenario creator. But it would need new locks (floodgates) graphics - they should look more like natural river locks. That would also enable to have lakes and towns on lakes.....

Would you be willing to license these tiles under the GPL so that they could be used in other games?

Would it be easier to prevent trees from growing right next to the water?

Do you have a need to tell others what to write and not to write in this forum?

If someone is off-topic, isn't this a question for the forum administrators?

Replying to only say that or to boost your postcount? I think it's clear that people may not always have the reasons for posting you think they have. If they do I still don't see problem in it. Just imagine we start 'welcoming' each new member with the message 'Registering just to ask that? Hmm.'. Was it the first reaction you got when your registered here?

As long as people post according to the forum rules I can't care what their (first) post is.

If you want to react to this I appreciate a PM, Dave.

Lapkka, looks awesome man! We now have a patch feature that would support corner coast pieces as required in the image below (Thanks to Lakie). Think it would be possible to get these now?

It's all lies! All lies!
The thurth. ;)

It's a feature of diagonal flooding and does not work without it.
It also doesn't cover all slope types to avoid some nasty flooding suitations.
