Now I miss some data (again! :( ) So if anybody could help with data for following trams:
DUEWAG BE 4/6
Djuro Djakovic 101
Djuro Djakovic 201
Thanx!
And pre-taster now has two trams. I hope KT4 is looking good (it's articulated, and articulated RVs are not available yet.)

Some news: Besides new sound for trams, there is sound when trams are broken down same as trains (I think it's more realistic than old RVs broken down sound). All sound effects were done with big help of PikkaBird and DaleStan!

A little gift for New year: I found data for DueWag and Djuro Djakovic trams, so look in first post for DueWag Be 4/6 (more coming soon :D ). After that, there are old trams to do, but I have no data. If anybody could recognize them...

OK, I got a question about the Serbian road vehicles: Didn't Ikarus eventually become part of NABI (North American Bus Industries), the builder of all the new buses for Pace in suburban Chicago, and the 60-LFW articulateds in Chicago itself? If so, couldn't the Serbian bus set be redrawn into American graphics with American paint (I'l love a Pace/CTA set)

the MBTA also uses NABI buses, the 40ft and the 60ft articulated models http://www.nabiusa.com/buses/products.cfm?bus_type=1 I'd love to draw MBTA liveries for these buses as part of some North American set.

Ikarbus buses are currently part of George's long vehicles; but if you want you may of course include them in your set too :D

NABI's site shows Pace 35-LFW vehicle number 2423 as a representation. Currently, that exact vehicle is in 20th anniversary colors too, and Pace does 'wraparound' decals for ad campaigns and special service buses (Like shuttles to sports events- they had a Cubs and Bears bus at one time, though I know the Bears bus as an Orion I)

Interesting, it looks like Ikarbus, but Ikarbus didn't exported buses to US AFAIK. With little modifications, I can draw 35-LFW bus from IK-103 (altough I really don't know when I'll be able to do it, you might do it, you have permission from me, or wait for me to draw it).

As a friendly driver explained today, NABI has some connection to Ikarus, NABI's factories are in Eastern Europe, even, and the buses are container freighted to the US and assembled in Alabama. I mught experiment with the grf file soon

Very interesting fact; I really didn't knew that. Just pay attention: do you mean Ikarus (Hungarian factory) or Ikarbus (Serbian factory, altough it's name was also Ikarus till 1993-4, but those factories were not connected AFAIK)?

Actually, Ikarus and Ikarbus were the same thing until 1993. They were simply two different factories of the same brand (called Ikarus). Later, Irisbus bought Ikarus in Hungaria, but the agreement didn't include the factories in former Yugoslavia. So that's why Serbian Ikarus was renamed Ikarbus and lived a life of its own.
You can even see it from the production: until 1993, they produced the same buses, while now they're different. They produce Agoras in Hungary AFAIK.

Other good brands of Eastern European vehicles are Ganz (for trolleybuses) and Solaris (for buses), they're still active nowadays...
