My first attempt [New Company Headquarters]

Discuss, get help with, or post new graphics for TTDPatch and OpenTTD, using the NewGRF system, here. Graphics for plain TTD also acceptable here.

Something minor i spotted...
Theres a slight glitch (or it looks a bit like it) on the left side windows. they dont seem aligned properly, only slightly out how ever, not major :wink:
Added what i mean in attachment.
Also you could have a sign on the front gates to the car park saying, or pretending to say something like. "Please show identification to guard at barrier" you would some times get that on important buildings :wink:

Not currently.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Sure enough, I loaded my pcx up and I see where the alignment problem is. I thought I caught all of them too...oh well, version 1.21 will be coming up later tonight.

I was also thinking about adding a sign, but i'm not sure where to put it. I'd like to keep it in the middle of the road to avoid having different versions for the "drive on left side" and "drive on right side" folks. And since we're dealing in single pixel widths, i'm pretty limited on what I can do to the gates without making them look too deformed.

I uploaded yet another new version. This time the misaligned windows were fixed and the smaller roof now lines up properly with the bigger one. Get the new version at the same place:

though neat it looks a tad too repetitive imo. a bit of randomization would put a slightly less artificial taint to it.

I see what you mean, especially about the windows. I did a little messing around with them and came up with some possibilities for a fix.

I don't know thier both good but i think i like the first one as it looks like there are employees working in the compartments because of the different positions of shades/curtains but shading/gare looks great as well.I guess you prefer he first with green signal :lol:

Company Colors

What should I do about the company colors? I was originally going for a HQ that had similar coloring to all the other TTD buildings. I did this to an even greater extent in my third attachment. The first attachment is what I had before and tries to blend similarity of TTDs buildings with the different company colors. And the middle attachment is a lot more of the building in company colors.
