Pikka, looks awesome man! Had to take a look on the net for the 10000, although I know I'd seen it somewhere before.

Mmhm... :P

Quick Question.. do you think I should add the new carriages as part of the diesel set, or create another seperate grf?

You mean wether the passenger carriages with the same look as the MUs should be included in the grf or in a seperate grf?

Well, IMO, the should be included in the same grf.

No, those ones are already included with the mu grf. I mean the ones I just posted - the replacements for the general, loco-hauled carriages. Or should I perhaps bite the bullet and combine the steamers, MUs and diesels into one grf?

(I know I originally said overrides in the previous post, I meant new graphics. :)))

And I'm coding these up now...

imo the nose on the deltic should be somewhat 2 pixels longer, but otherwise its great.

Hmm...

I'm still a little confused with the variable action 2s.

Can someone write me an example for a livery after a certain date?

(edit - never mind, I think I figured it out :)))

I think everything (with exception of the viaduct (because then it won't work in OTTD)) should be in one big grf file. It would be a tonne easier to install and handle ;P

0.41 is uploaded :D

Changes from 0.31:

*Everything except the viaduct is now in one .grf

*Added 3 new locomotives: 0-8-0 Freight, 10000, Deltic (yes, 10000 ended up with a black roof - the white just looked too out of place).

*Added new Passenger, Mail and Armoured Van graphics.

*Added new 65mph Hopper Wagon for coal and iron ore (and boy is that thing useful!).

To do in the future:

*More new locos (specifically, a faster tank engine. The original PT perhaps).
*Unify the mail and armoured vans (they already have the same graphics) into one refittable vehicle, to free up a vehicle spot.
*Brake Van.

See first post for details and download links. DOS and Windows grfs are in the one zip file.

Considering that this is a miniset, is it really necessary to do this? I prefer to have vehicles that I can just build without refitting if possible and you are by no means short of IDs.

Well... depends whether I need the ID or not, I guess. Since this is designed to be used with the cargo set there's not many wagon IDs free (unless I start taking the monorail and maglev wagons, but some strange people actually use those...)

Now you mention it, it wouldn't be unusual to have mail and valuables on the same train, so I'll leave it as-is.

Pikka, looks AWESOME! :D I'm using this set now on a pretty decent game. A larger tank engine'd be cool, yeah... but aside from that, everything looks great! I don't think the nose on the deltic needs to be lengthened, if anything, the Class 37 nose should be lengthened by a pixel in each direction, they've got a longer nose than the Deltics.

This is a fun little set, can't wait to see more :D

You planning any smaller "Old Time" wagons? :P

The Warship, yeah I can see, but really, what would the Class 15 add that the Class 20 doesn't?
