error weith factory

Post by kyanit »

Hi. I am using UK renewal set and its industries. I have found an incompatibility error with newcargow.grf, which I am using too. As visible on attached screenshot, UK factory accepts lumber, plastic and steel. But station shows that accepts only WOOD and STEEL. But when I turn off newcargow, then station near factory accepts s/l/p. Is there some error or is it not possible to use these sets together?

They're not really compatible, no.

Can I ask where the UKRS part of your site has gone Pikka? It vanished. :(

Ooh. Also, after an extensive game, could I request a faster Livestock van for late game? 65mph ones slow down the network a tad.

I have two troubles with the set:
  1. The trains have names as kirby paul tanker, x2001, mjs250, etc. (like the ttd normal trains)
  2. My factories don't accept plastic
I searched two pages back, but not finded answer. What am I doing bad?
Sorry for my english I am argentinian

No-one said it was meant to be easy. ;)

Actually even the 65mph ones are stretching realism a little.

In game options, change the vehicle names from "custom" to "default".
My factories don't accept plastic
If you've activated the industry grf mid-game, you might need to rebuild the factory. Alternatively, you may have another grf file which is conflicting.

First post has been updated.

Added are two new steam locos: the 2-10-0 Freight Engine (9F) in 1954, and the (fictitious, obviously) Wardale '604' in 2033.

A few other changes;

- The 5AT now has new graphics, and it, the 604, Pacific and Deltic now use secondary company colour. You'll need to also install the special grf file linked on the first page. Secondary CC is currently set by ctrl-clicking in the "colour scheme" window.

- The 8F has had its TE reduced slightly, to make room for the 9F.

- All the passenger carriages (and MUs) have had their graphics tweaked (added diaphrams between the carriages).

Not sure if this is the correct place, but there seems to be a grf ID conflict between your viaduct graphics and the new tramtrack graphics:

I think that's a general problem with tramtracks and custombridgeheads, JDK.

Ah, OK, I don't have any other custom bridges, so I wouldn't know.

Hi guys, I'm new to the whole TT forum thing so please bear with me.

Just wondering whether you could list Download links for all the files mentioned in this topic (if you haven't already).

May well be laziness on my part but I can't find some, for example the bridge.

Great work PikkaBird, IMHO (which is very much worthless but still) you've actually created something that Britons on this forum can relate to.

Have yourself a nice day.
