Re: Awvr Grf
The essential truth of newGRF development, trainman, is that you generally have to do it yourself (at least some of the way) before anyone will be interested in helping. Take the "Indonesian Station Set" for example; it exists only as a collection of pictures of said stations in real life, and in the imagination of the "developer" since they haven't actually created anything.
So, make a start on it yourself and you might gather more interest

Wouldn't it be easiest to edit US/Canadian trains since they already contain those locos?

Can someone give alluke a fridge?alluke wrote:Wouldn't it be easiest to edit US/Canadian trains since they already contain those locos?

If the license permits it, yep, that would be easiest.alluke wrote:Wouldn't it be easiest to edit US/Canadian trains since they already contain those locos?

May need more info on which trains these Awvr are based. They look American, so take a look at the USset, Canadian Trainset, NARS, 2ccSet. They may have it included.

It's a fictional railroad from a movie. The locomotives seen in the movie are GE Dash 9s and EMD SD40-2s.Purno wrote:May need more info on which trains these Awvr are based. They look American, so take a look at the USset, Canadian Trainset, NARS, 2ccSet. They may have it included.

I have a feeling that your topics are related, so I have merged them.
Perhaps you should explain exactly what it is you're trying to achieve, overall?

Actully, for 777&767 it's ac4400cws.
Nice try for a guess.

Re: Awvr Grf
To heave this back to something relevant....
You have admitted you cannot code. Fairy snuff, can be challenging for some (tis for me). However, anyone can draw sprites. Might not be exactly very good at first, but you'll improve with practice.
So, what is stopping you drawing them? Further more, without sounding confrontational here, but if you can't code, and haven't drawn them, what exactly would you be doing if someone "helped" you with this? Surely they'd be doing all the work?

Re: Awvr Grf
That looks good, well done. Re-painting (or making liveries) is a good way of getting to know train sprites I have found - especially when you start painting all of the views of said train with the correct shading. I would attempt that next.
