Hi,

This is the Third Release of the Bm73 to public.
This version is a complete re-write of the code.

Changes

:!: Completely rewrote the code
:!: Changed Parameters and how they work
:!: Removed Set Compatablity

Needs

:!: TTDpatch 2.0.1 alpha 39 or higher
:!: Multihead = 0
(NOT multihead=off)

Set Compatablity

This Grf has NO support for other sets*, use with other sets at own risk.

* - It should work with the Norwegian Trainset though.

Notes

:!: Single Train *
:!: Only works in Temperate
:!: Only Carrages are supported by this train. :P

* This Release is not compatable with older releases.
It now uses a different Vehicle ID.

To Use

You buy a " Bm73 "
then you add 3 Passanger Carrages
This makes one Train.

You add another 4 carrages to
another train coupled on to it.

There is no limit to how many
coupled train you can have.
But 1 coupled train for realistic.

DO NOT buy another Train head.
USE carrages, otherwise you will get errors.

To Change live use refitting.
(only if grf parameter 4 is used)

Set parameters to limit / increase the range of liveries aviable.

Engine

Year = 1997
Speed = 131 MPH
weight = 260 tons
Power = 2,604 HP
Cost = £47,000
Type = Electric

Parameters
Parameter one :

Please Add the bits of the liveries you want.
1 - Blue Version
2 - Red Version

Thats beautifull! Thanks A LOT :D That will be a nice addition to the Norwegian Trainset I belive :D

Oh and for those of you who care.

The blue one is called "Signatur" and is an ICE train (Travels between Stavanger and Oslo)

The red one (BM73b) is called "Agenda" and is also an ICE train but is used for shorter distances (Like Stavanger - Kristiansand)

The only difference between the two I is that Agenda doesnt have a resturant but Signatur does. Thats the only difference I know of anyway.

I'm working on making some parameters. These might affect the name, bepending on how I'm feeling, when I code them

0 - Normal (blue even year, red odd year) - bm73
1 - Blue ONLY - Signatur
2 - Red ONLY - Agenda
3 - Company Colours (ONLY) - bm73
(Default is 0)

Hope to finish and release this revision soon. ;)

Lakie make it refittable to colors ...
like in newest LongVehicles (ver 3)

or if it is possible make list there:

- Refit Train -
* Red Color
* Blue Color
* Company Color

[edit] Patchman says it wouldn't really be worth it.
(plus adds 32 - 64 more active sprites than before)

I have made a BETA copy of v1.5

Changes
Added Parameters
~ 0 - normal (red and blue trains changing acording to year built)
~ 1 - Blue (only the Blue version)
~ 2 - Red (only the red version)
~ 3 - Company Colours (ONLY)*

* May look wierd with certain colours

I will NOT be releasing this one yet.
Please PM if you would like to beta test.

updated with version 1.5.1C (Release 2)

Added
Parameters
~ 0 - normal (red and blue trains changing acording to year built)
~ 1 - Blue (only the Blue version)
~ 2 - Red (only the red version)
~ 3 - Company Colours (ONLY)
~ 4 - Refittable liveries (only works with A39~)

Refittable liveries
Allows you to change liveries by refitting.
However, this increases the number of sprites that need to be loaded.
(maybe double / triple than normal)

(only works with A39~)

I gedownloadet today your update of your locomotive.
Now an error message comes while the loading.
I used the Patsch 39,1, which came out today.

[edit] It appears people don't know why parameter one is there,
Well, it's left over from debugging. And I would rathar not make a new version right now, 4 versions is more than enough. (2 revisions)

I would prefer to way for a large section of code to change first.

The first parameter is "4291929255" just be warned you might lose features for not reading the readme.
Any complains about livery refitting not working will be down to user error.

So the Forum is still alive then :) I know it's been years and days since I last was logged in here, but it's not my prob, just the modem..
And I see Lakie here still likes the BM73, good I'm not the only one, hehe.

Is there much I've missed? I mean, there must be atleast 3 or 4 months since I last was online. If anyone wants to give me an update, just drop a pm to me, I don't want to be accused for spam here :lol:

Well, back on topic.. The train needs a little bit shading, I thought you guys did that already! :P

Then you and I are exact opposites, Purno.
/me doesn't draw graphics
Yes, despite the .sig, I don't draw.
...
...
I edit[0], and then code (if necessary). If you can tell me what's wrong, and I don't have too much other stuff eating up my time, I'll likely take a look at it, and see what I can do.

[0] Sometimes the result looks nothing like the original, but if I don't have something to build on, nothing gets done

Well, I was thinking of a reshape ala your X2000.. Actually, I think the BM73 is looking a bit tame in the game (IIRC).
Just ehh.. I don't know.. Change the colours a bit :wink:

Make it rounder it looks very square now, and add some shading to the roof, make it more grey. Anyways good job purno :-)
