Clear big area

Maybe this is already a feature of TTDpatch but I didn't find it:

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to clear larger areas? This would be particulary useful to remove long straight tracks. I thought of a feature like the "plant more trees" patch, where you can hold CTRL to clear a rectangular area defined by two points.

I just hate to remove long tracks, it takes forever!

no there is no switch or feature like that and I agree that would be good

speak to Csaba (author of plantmanytrees switch) he is at Maillist sometimes here and sometimes at newsgroup (but he wasn't last weeks here)

You could make it just like track placement now; one click deletes one tile, clicking and dragging deletes many tiles in a line. I like the concept.
