And not just criticism ;)
Well if you want to associate your game with non-English people who speak English in a sick, abbreviated form, then you go ahead. I'd rather stab myself in the genitals with a butter knife, to be perfectly honest.

We already have 37 finished translations of the game (OpenTTD) done, and 4 that are still unfinished.
So i'd say that the project has a very large base, when considering language only.
Further more, been ethnophobic is not something to be considered. Neither been engli-centric, if you understand what I mean ;)

And for your information Dave, an awful lot of users of these forums are not native english speakers. Myself included.
I personally think that the ability to speak more than one language is a gift, something to treasure, not to be ashamed of.
You do not think alike? I don't care, not my business. And I hope your genitals will not cross any foreigners during your life time.
If you are not ready to work a bit for your ideas, it means they don't count much for you.
OpenTTD and Realism? Well... Here are a few thoughs on the matter.
He he he he

At least you can speak with a bit of sense...

If all foreigners made the effort that you clearly have, then there'd be no problem.

That said, this kicked off because of some knobs coming in and putting in their two pennith where it wasn't required.

Well, at least the British are working hard to avoid this in the future:

Yeah..., just out of curiosity I revisited and meanwhile the comments started rolling in. Very funny, weird, or just basic truths like "Toddlers who say 'Yuk' to spicy food can only be considered racist if they are from white, middle class homes."

I like Britain. 8)

That's the torygraph for you. Well I wish I could blame them entirely. Unfortunately we are so ridiculously Politically Correct that we are now almost offending more people than we are trying not to by not allowing us to say anything. Being "PC" offends me for sure.

Now Dave Worley I have a question:
Is it a master butter knife or an individual butter knife?

I'm even not sure that "language" like that is product of translator.

(O/C I don't want to be smart arse, but at least I'm trying to type it as much correct as I can.)

Aside from two dropped articles ("a product of a translator"), that was quite excellent. :)

Articles were allways painful for me, in most cases I don't know where to put them. :(
